This game is the story of Halflife 1, the skill/job/perk system from Project zomboid, and the weird objects from scp all rolled into one.

Update: This change seems to be entirely coming from the publisher Sony, and not from the developers themselves who are (at least after seeing what the people that play the game thing) opposed to it the more refunds and negative reviews the more leverage arrowhead has to try to get Sony to not make this change.

Barotrauma is a game best played with the kind of friends you can trust to not devolve into team killing in magicka.

It's at its best when everything is going down the drain and the environment is nothing but chaos but your team is staying organized and clearly communicating.

It's a game of feast and famine, of hurry up and wait. Some tips for getting more enjoyment out of it: use only the in game voice chat/text (trust me it ties in to a few things), don't do all your organizing when you're docked (it's good to have stuff to do during lulls), and don't look up anything on the wiki (its much more fun to not know what lurks in the deep)

Worth the price even if they didn't add any new content. Barrel of laughs with friends or randoms.

The game went the early access direction of get your mechanics down well and then add in the rest of the guns levels and game modes. It feels more like a demo of limited content than a buggy early access.

My best way to sum up my opinion of this game is "Why the hell does that work like that?! Fine I can work around it I just need a few days to come up with a solution"

Really scratches that itch for a open world survival crafting game with a mobile main base

A pretty good minecraft in space style game, The game currently looks to be abandoned however that's not quite true. The devs have ran into financial issues and are waiting/working on other projects to gather the fundage to continue development. Don't expect any kind of updates soon, but there is plenty to play around with in the mean time.
