It's very good. It's the closest a computer RPG has ever come to simulating the "you can do anything you want" feeling tabletop RPGs are known for. There's a mind-boggling amount of choices, consequences and variations. The gameplay is also pretty interesting with lots of additions to D&D 5e, unique combat scenarios for the tactically-minded, lots of magic items to spice things up and of course a ton of ways to approach each situation (kinda like an immersive sim).

With that said, there's a price to be paid for this level of dynamic adaptation. A lot of the times the seams become visible as different cinematics and voicelines play trying to accommodate the specific permutations you have done but not managing to be 100% coherent. NPCs will occasionally comment on things you haven't done or forget they know you. A lot of plotlines and companion quests are tightly insulated from each other to prevent combinatorial explosion which makes a lot of interactions feel very isolated and stiff.

With that said, it is a marvel of a game. Definitely extremely worthwhile and rewarding so I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who has even a passing interest in RPGs.

It's a good cerebral game, I love coming up with good combos and plays. Very addictive too, for better or worse.

It's similar to the original The Forest, except more fleshed out, bigger, more elaborate, more detailed. But the core is the same. Lacking the intriguing premise and shocking twist of the original makes it feel somewhat directionless.

Pretty good and very unique. Some puzzles are a bit esoteric/tedious, especially near the end.

It's good. Delivers on the promise (cozy management game about dying). You play the role of a girl who comforts the souls of dead or dying people and leads them to their final end. The characters and interactions with them are very sentimental and make it worth it. Yet the casual platforming and resource management gameplay keeps it far from perfection. It's very addictive and makes you invested but at the same time It's annoying, grindy, repetitive, pointless. These elements feel tacked on, even though there is a lot of content and they form the core of the gameplay loop.

Nice visuals, truly captivating. The puzzles are somewhere between inventive and frustrating.

Excellent style, atmosphere, aesthetics and cinematography. The "meet other players" mechanic is interesting but the game doesn't do much with it. Overall it's worthwhile.

Pretty good coop game. Crafting is done very competently, combat is kinda meh but serviceable, spelunking is fun, especially with friends.

That was pretty good. I especially loved the vibe and atmosphere of the final chapters, the ones on Xen. I do have some complaints (it overstays its welcome taking me like 25+ hours, some gameplay elements are pretty frustrating or boring, the early chapters are outdated, bad optimisation, some bugs) but overall I enjoyed it a lot.

Functionally it's not any different than a random website that would allow you to exchange semi-anonymous messages. Somehow this basic functionality is implemented in such a natural and interesting way that it becomes a wholesome and worthwhile experience with plenty of atmosphere and a sense of community.
