The puzzles are great. Farily original, neatly designed and presented. On par with or better than what most puzzles in the workshop have to offer.

As for the rest... it's obvious a lot of effort went into having relatively high production values for a mod, what with the story and voice acting and set pieces etc. But it all feels extremely derivative of Portal 2. It would greatly benefit from some original thinking instead of mindless mimicry in those departments.

Obsidian has a reputation for making "flawed masterpieces" and Fallout New Vegas is paradeigmatic of that pattern of theirs.

It does so much wrong with the fundamentals of gameplay: Gunplay is uninteresting, the engine is a mess, more bugs than you can count, controls are bad, UI is annoying, riddled with fetch quests and other boring staples. But underneath all that garbage, you'll find a really worthwhile experience. A deep world with profound moral dilemmas, relatable characters and in general a very well done effort to explore the themes of post-apocalyptic America. Ιt grabs you and immerses you in its intricate world of political intrigue, weird science, survival against all odds and the human condition.

My favourite part of the experience was definitely the little connections you'll find scattered in the game. You won't notice at first since you learn about so many different characters and events. But at certain times you'll have an "aha moment" and two seemingly unrelated things will suddenly make sense when you put them together. That kind of world building and sense of discovery is deliciously rewarding.

Pretty good and poetic. It lacks the mechanical subtleties of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and instead opts for a more "walking simulator" approach. This has both advantages and disadvantages but on balance I think it's worthwhile.

There is not much to it other than the novelty of it, but I still genuinely enjoyed it.

Severely outdated mechanically but the atmosphere and sense of place is very good.

Very hard and frustrating but also extremely rewarding puzzle/engineering game. A concurrent programmer's wet dream and worst nightmare.

It's not exactly a game. You need to play to the end to "get it".

Space-themed rogue-like built around self-contained encounters. Very addictive and very hard.

Lovely puzzle platformer. The gameplay in conjuction with the aesthetics and the audio create a very dream-like and relaxed mood. I adore the state of mind it induces.

Extremely satisfying heist game.

It's not exactly a fully stealth game, getting found is not the end of the world, you just need to escape and hide. The gameplay alternates between trying to be stealthy and purposefuly or mistakenly getting discovered while accomplishing some objective.

The coop experience is vastly different than the solo experience. The ideal is to have a group of 4 friends and play together.
