Scorn is sadly a victim of very different advertising to what it actually played or osmething. Alot of people thought scorn would've been more of a proper shooter which it very much IS NOT, Scorn at it's core is a more like a Puzzle Horror/Walk-Sim but I say that in a best way I could. You'd really have to go into this game with an open-mind that you're not gonna be "fighting" per-say, and ideally you're honestly wanting to avoid it as much as possible. Scorn is the kind of game where you can actively be "playing it wrong" and I'm not sure if this genuinely is a flaw of the game or a fault on people's perception of the game.

Scorn has pretty decent puzzles that I've grown to be way more able of doing on my own without help and an atomsphere that's worth the play through alone. The story of Scorn is prolly the only other thing that'll be a struggle for most people interested in a game like it. Scorn is not the kind of game that "tells" anything, leaving everything to show. That being said I think what it shows us is something that is a very interesting one and I'd love to hear more intepretations of it.

If you have the patience for a game like this, go ahead, if you don't, I wouldn't get it, maybe just watch a summary if that's what you're after.

Perilous Warp is like if every level was the First World levels of Quake but were way more closed up and didn't have any of the kind of "mmpfth" or movement that Quake had. Perilous Warp feels exactly like a game that was made around the same time as many games like Quake 2 or half-life but in the worst way. It is far from a horrible game but a game that leaves very much to be desired and for such a short experience it only furthers the fact. It's interesting how there's weapon upgrades in a game that only lasts about 6 levels as well. The movement is incredibly lacking, you're very heavy and slow and your player box is just as much of a hinderance. Most enemies are a joke and are not very interesting, very stiff and have this dorky ass jump out of the way thing most of the time but it's nothing the secondary shot of the upgraded shotgun does it.

If you want something better, go play DUSK or HROT or just play Quake don't bother with Perilous Warp, if at all just get it on sale but it is not worth much.

Valve should've just turned this into a free edition that comes with the regular half-life, it's not really worth the actual thing but it feels wrong jsut completely erasing it despite how bad this is.

Ironically I was playing this right at the time of the Half-Life anniversary update but I still think this is a really good way to play the game with slightly more reliable modern edits to an already amazing game, all the changes have been completely unintrusive and only serves to increase the experience.

Surprisingly Solid HL2 mod, gives me immense Ep1 vibes but in a good way Ik that EP1 is liek the most forgettable but this is like the better sense of it. A short but entertaining and un-iratable experience.

I've continuously put this game off- off and on for lack of better word but this game isn't good enough at holding my attention beyond the few moments it had, the gimmick of using speed to do damage to your enemies is a fun one but due to the corridor/maze-like maps between a few open and very perilous catwalks, it just doesn't do much. The load times for a game like this are far too ridiculous for a game that's graphics and modeling shouldn't need to deal with this much.

LEGO Star Wars is the staple of many a childhood and I was no different and LSW is still a game coming back to as an adult and honestly one of the best games that is great for the family or otherwise, now if only steam remote play would ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work
