Domina is an extremely fun and addicting gladiator simulator. You are a Domina of a once proud ludus, and you have to micromanage many aspects of your gladiator's daily lives, for instance food & water, training, equipment, morale, and ofcourse combat. The pixel graphics suit this game very well along with the indie style and vulgar humor of the game. Domina is downright hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud many times. The micromanagement elements and perks systems adds nice depth to the game and always keeps you busy. You can simulate the combat or take control of a gladiator. The controls are simple and easy to use. Combat is fast and bloody, and a blast to watch or play. Although the games emphasis is more on managing your gladiators and your ludus. Still there is a nice balance between the two, and the combat is so exciting and gruesome you never feel like your missing out. The game also has a pleasant soundtrack. Domina is on the shorter side though it has high replayability. I highly recommend this little gem of a game.

"Dominion" would properly earn the devs a lawsuit by Rio Grande Games. Why? It's a boardgame from 2008 that's immensely popular in the world.

I don`t understand why it`s called Domina. Females did not oversee gladiatorial fights. A gladiator school would be named after the owner (like Famalia Batiatus. for example). And it would always be the man overseeing the training. Even if by some rare case a woman was put in charge that would hardly be a reason to name a whole game about male gladiators "Domina". Dominion would be better.
