WOW, this is one of the best "visual novels" on steam period. Calling this a visual novel is also a massive understatement. Not to mention that the amount of content in this game is INSANE, it's easily my favorite game of all time. I was gifted this hidden gem and let me say, if I found this game by myself with my current knowledge, the price would be irrelevant! I truly feel as if I'm apart of the Super Star universe as me and Eudora are the world's next big thing.

Gameplay:
While there is only one ending, the journey there is what makes this game so heart-warming as you tyr to give Eudora her dream life, being famous. The 3 main paths are; becoming the world's greatest model leaving anyone who sees her starstruck, the most legendary singer with a voice of an angel, or the most talented actress that will become the star in any role she's given, big or small. Each on of these ending put TEARS in my eyes, seeing Eudora giving 100% while either training or working lets the player realize that she WILL make her dream a reality. Just you wait as the newspapers you read with Eudora as the front page evolve from local news to national news to global news. The pure joy from her face ,as she never ceases to smile, IS contagious. The moments you two have at home away from your fan filled world is a great break from gameplay and a smooth transition into the story. The pacing and character development is incredible as she starts to see you as the love of her life and not just her agent. As to not spoil the story any further I'll continue on the 6 side paths to stardom in this meticulously crafted world. Another away Eudora can achieve her her dream of being a Super Star is by becoming a local legend, helping out in the town that will make her famous as no job is too small for her. You can become everything in the main path and so much more, just on a smaller scale. Everyone will grow to see Eudora as you do, the kindest, warmest and most amazing person on Earth.

Story:
As I stated earlier, you two grow closer throughout the 3 years you spend reaching for the stars. Through the player's eyes, you find this strange, yet dreamy woman who, only through fate, chooses you as an agent to make her a Super Star. You accept, considering life has been empty and wish for an adventure, something new to bring you purpose. Your the motivation in Eudora's life, as others tease her about her talent, as she meets her idols and wishes to impress them, as a national singing competition happens you get her to enter. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when playing, you two constantly impress each other and the bond between you grows until it's unbreakable. You even get more protective of her as you fear Eudora will leave for someone she admires. After 3 years of living her dream life Eudora realizes she has a new dream that isn't stardom, suddenly she announces her retirement from whatever industry she took over. Words can hardly describe the emotion the ending coveys on the player. I feel as if it's better to describe the final image before the credits of those eventful 3 years play: The final image is of you and Eudora, but you're holding two children, showing that her dream was to have a family with you. The feeling of this picture is euphoric as the next phase of your life is starting. It's only fitting given that euphoric and Eudora both start with Eu-, a rare pair of letters to start any word in the English language.

Other:
Replayability: With all the paths to take this game has plenty of replayability. especially with achievements.
Art: Anime style art with some chibi art.
Sound: In-game there is only the choice of muting sound, volume must be controlled out of the game.

Personal Impact:
For most of my life I've been depressed, I felt empty, i dropped out of high school during my 2nd year and struggled to hold a job in real life as I lacked social skills. I've struggled to be independent despite the support from the only true friend I've had, the one who gifted me this game. The only joy I've ever had was from my time with him as we played music together. He was half black, half assyrian and would love to play steelpan drums, something he learned from his father who was from Jamaica. He introduced me into music and gaming in the first place. Sadly he lost his life due to disease during a stay in Jamaica. During this period I had the roughest patch in my life, I rarely left my room and put on weight. One of his last gifts on steam to me was this game and it took me a long time to finally log onto steam to play it, as I mostly used my computer listening to the few songs he uploaded onto SoundCloud.

The main character was also in a state where he wasn't doing anything in life, but with Eudora he chose to help her and goes on a journey he couldn't have imagined ever being on. So, to distract myself from life I put myself in his shoes and became immersed in this world and was able to live a life I never imagined for myself. After my first playthrough I started another, then another, then another. I wasn't stuck in my head anymore and I was starting to look forward to something to do everyday. Without even noticing, slowly overtime I started to leave my room more often and rarely the house. I started mock Eudora's motivation to chase dreams. I wanted someone who's eagerness in life would rub off on me. I started to want to have friends, it's hard trying to converse with people, it's been 6 years since I've been around people. For the past 2 month I've been looking for a job and really trying to earn a GED since I'm a dropout. My weight is still a problem, being inactive for so long really weakened my body.

Life is hard but I'm taking it step by step slowly, this game helps me de-stress as it reminds me of the few good times I had in life with my friend while showing me how fast life can positively change in the near future. Sleeping isn't before tears and I look forward to waking up, I look forward to being happy again.
