Now THAT is some good-ass Tekken.
Finally, the singleplayer mode is rich with content and multiplayer feels seamless. Definitely what Tekken 7 should've been if they had the budget then. Story mode is short, stupid, but a fun, crazy brainless ride. This feels like a love letter from Harada and the team.

Only thing that disappoints me is the wrestler's name is King of Dinosaurs and not King of Fighters.

Compared to how it was back during its launch, Street Fighter V is in its best state. If you want to play a solid 2D fighting game without the intimidation of a high learning curve, this is for you. As much as I love Tekken 7, I still prefer SFV in terms of single player content. I can't say the same for multiplayer though.

Also if you like thicc anime girls, besides Dead or Alive, Guilty Gear and The King of Fighters, grab this one.

Don't mind my play time hours. I've originally played this on the PS4 for more than 100 hours and decided to switch to PC.

As a guy who has played all Mortal Kombat games since the first one (and yes, even the spin-off games both terrible and incredible), I would say MK11 is arguably the best of the bunch. Sure, it may lack some iconic characters and questionable character designs but those are all forgivable because of its polished kombat. It's not as slow as MK9 nor as fast as MKX, giving the mechanics here just the right amount of pacing.

It may have a rocky start in 2019 with its unforgivable grind and microtransactions but they've fixed all of it... well, mostly. Some characters have balance issues but hey, this is a NetherRealm game we're talking about.

In the end, Fatalities and Brutalities are more grotesque than ever, the Friendships are fun, and the 2 singleplayer stories are well-written. Online multiplayer is full of challenges but even if you're not a fan of PvP, there's a lot going on with its offline and singleplayer content as well. Kudos to The Krypt for giving us a different perspective of how Shang Tsung's Island's layout is like, which makes it quite a feat for long-time players especially fans of the first game.

I love fighting games - both 2D and 3D and this is certainly one of my top fighters. If you are disappointed with the lack of content from Tekken 7, The King of Fighters XIV and Street Fighter V, then this should satisfy your content cravings. Definitely worth the money but do get the Ultimate version, especially when it comes on sale (which happens a lot these days).

If you played this game and you're thinking if Cyberpunk 2077 is better, trust me when I say this is better. Was very disappointed by how linear Cyberpunk was compared to the almost limitless actions you can do in Human Revolution. If you want a good Cyberpunk game that runs smoothly, has a very engaging storyline and a highly atmospheric tone, this is the game for you. Just be mindful of the heavy amber filter in the game.
