♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 9/11 was 15 years ago

14.8(nearly 15) years and still have a vac ban that could have been avoided if steam support at the time was faster in recovering my account. I wear this thing like a badge of honor, an honor knowing that whatever got me that vac ban, was not by me, and due to the incompetence of steam support at the time that took a week, then gave me someone else's account, and took another week to swap out the random account and give me back mine that whatever the hacker was doing might not have landed me a vac ban.

I can only assume it was counter strike source which I had on my account at the time, and it was a low level since I sucked really bad at it. Ive heard that low lvl accounts were desireable for something called boosting but I dont know how that works and it was sold as a french account since the country of origin was changed (when I did my sleuthing). Thats all I got, still think its BS and the time has CLEARLY been served, slap on the wrist and maybe unable to trade for a month should have been the maximum punishment for me losing access to my account.

Yeah, I never did it but it was done on my account...I... guess? Valve never told me what it was, in fact because of that I cannot even be sure they even HAD any evidence. It would like if you tried someone guilty without even showing the person in the courtroom why it came to that conclusion or allow them to make their argument. I can only make vague assumptions that when I was unable to access my account that whoever could access did things.
