Just pick Ame-no-Uzume and be at peace.

Also if you'd like to play in co-op right at the start in FREE MODE, enter this cheat code at the main menu using arrow keys / Dpad:

Left Left Left Left
Right Right Right Right
Left Right Left Right Left Right Left Right

You still need to unlock characters in STORY MODE but that's fine.
