The premise and the vibrant environment of the game pulled me in. The story, action , game design doesn't disappoint. The game's story is a mystery that needs to be unravelled as you play on. You are made an outcast at birth in a post apolcalyptic world where some people have regressed technologically and become superstitious tribal folk. You are raised with love by ROST who has also been cast out for reasons unknown and wonder about your origins while embarking on a journey that will help everyone in this world. The game is fairly open world and very well designed. It did suffer from performance issues at release but is fine now.

The game involves Rost telling Aloy to let go of grudges and selfishness and to look past the ignorance and cruelty of some of the tribe and to serve the embrace, even though action is more focused upon. The game has impressive futuristic technology and also shows that technology can be put to good as well as bad use.

Game is a bit long and if one stops playing midway , one might have to replay the whole thing if they want to play again and complete the game after a year or more gap.

also the shooting mechanics are hard to execute. trying to blast particular parts of enemies during battle is hard for me.
