After around 180 hours, I figure it's time i leave a review. To start with, there's pros and cons.

Pros:
- Character variety. No two characters play the same; some are more simple while others are more complex, some are more effective at specific roles than others, etc.
- Playstyle variety. The simple inclusion of the card and loadout system makes it easy to tailor a character to your specific playstyle, offering even more variety.
- Ongoing support. The game still receives frequent updates and support with no signs of stopping any time soon.
- Availability. This game is very easy to run, making it widely available to many types of systems.
- Cross-play. The ability to play with people from every current generation console is very appealing and further increases the game's availability.
- Aesthetics. Paladins, despite note being a graphic masterpiece, manages to keep a very consistent visually appealing art style.

Cons:
- Bugs. Despite not having nearly the amount the community makes there out to be at this stage, there are several visual bugs that are semi-common along with some rare gameplay bugs. These will be more common the worse your PC specs are.
- The Community. While not being nearly as bad as other games (such as LoL or Overwatch), there seems to be a good portion dedicated to complaining about every slight change and bug that occurs, attempting to demonize the game as a whole. This can grow tiresome to those who love and enjoy the game.
- Matchmaking. The games matchmaking has a tendency to place you with people far below or above your skill level. This is especially prevalent in casual matches.

Overall it's been one of my favorite games over the last year, and I would reccomend it highly. My experience has been mostly positive thus far. My largest recommendation, however, is to play it with friends. This alleviates much of the matchmaking issue and provides the much-needed aspect of communication within matches.
