Early Access Review
In under 2 weeks I've got almost 117 hours on this game, so yeah, it's a good game. It's fun, it has a big beautiful world to explore, a bunch of fun critters (some blatant pokemon ripoffs, some definitely NOT pokemon ripoffs) and a lot of stuff you can play with in terms of things you can make, things you can find, things you can do, base building, etc. It's got good bits from Ark, Breath of the Wild, and even Elden Ring in it.
Even with the bugs (Hey, it's early access. They're actively making the game.) it's still a good game, with the potential to become something truly great.

It does everything Legends Arceus did but better. It gives those of us who have over a thousand hours on Ark something new, finally.

It gives me a sense of wonder, as I look out over the sprawling landscape and see so many hints of adventure across the world.

This game is magical.

I've never played a Baldur's Gate game before, or anything else by Larian Studios. I now know that was a mistake. I took a crack at this one in early access a week ago, after hearing about game developers not wanting RPGs like this to be the standard. I figured if it's that good, I gotta play it, and boy was that the right call.

What a game! There's so much you can do, so many ways you can approach a situation, to the point where I create saves for specific ones so I can go back later just to try new ideas that pop into my head.

Great graphics, beautifully voice acted, and satisfying combat.

Great premise, nice variety in items and breakables, but the physics are pretty rough. Sometimes you take damage just walking around, sometimes your held item decides it wants to drag you across a room, stuff swings slowly, in many cases too slow to do damage, and your held items can just randomly break on you.

I've had held items break in my hands before the level loaded, loading me into the level with nothing.

Nothing that a bit of polish can't fix though, this still has a lot of potential, I just wouldn't recommend it as a purchase in the current state. It's more suitable as an early release demo.

Take a little tower defense, throw in some hack and slash, a bit of humor, and some great music, and you get the gist of Barbaria.
People should get in on this up and comer now. It's quite early access but there's already quite a bit to do in this, and it's a lot of fun. With active devs working away at it and taking feedback on the discord, this game is going to become a true gem.

With 166 VR titles in my library, I keep coming back to this one. It keeps getting better, and for something with no story or in-depth adventure yet, it has lots of entertainment, just messing around with the physics.

Every time I go to fire it up, I go looking for new mods, toss a bunch in, then delete the ones I think are causing it to get stuck loading, and then I play an increasingly diverse and bizarre game.

The immersion is fantastic, especially just wandering around the world outside your cabin. The beach has me almost smelling the ocean air, and if somebody misted me in the place with a spray bottle, I wouldn't even think anything is amiss.

This game has the potential to become *the* VR title everyone must experience.

Fun enough game, but you stream it once and the copyright holders are right on you about it. Guess they don't want free advertising, so I'll honor those wishes and never stream, make videos, or talk about this game again.

I did a stream of this game and it's really just a stream of me and some friends laughing near constantly.

I like this game so much that after I streamed it, I went and bought several copies of it to give away to folks in my discord.

Editing videos of this game is difficult because it's all so hilarious it's hard to figure out what to cut.

I'm super mixed on this one. I loved the first one, played it to completion and enjoyed every moment of it.

This one started off strong, and I had a great time, until the subway level.
That subway level broke me. I would try until I got too frustrated to continue, and close the game, and days later come back and try again, same result.

I'm sure the rest of the game after that is great, but I may never see it.

Is this the Matrix? Because I plugged into a computer and now I know kung-fu. Woah.

This game is fantastic. It could benefit from more content periodically being released, or even community workshop support so people could design their own hotels and share them with others, and always new items. But it is very fun overall. It's a workout and therapeutic at the same time, you can vent so much frustration on it.

Can be hell on your furniture in a smaller playspace.
