ok, so. I finally got able to edit my "review " after all these years (this is the second time I do that :0). And I'm gonna say almost the exact same thing, except, I'm gonna actually write the "REVIEW" about this game. My lovely game.

So, the first thing I want to mention is the graphical design and art direction in this game. It's so good I can't even explain why exactly. The whole game got the vibe of more grounded sci-fi facility. Dark, industrial and retro. I just love that science-fiction stuff with 90's cartoony design of computers and other various equipment.

The second thing is sound desing; In my opinion, this is the most unique sound desing that I've ever heard in any video-game, period. It totally fits the whole thing. Hence why there is SO much Half-Life SFX videos in YT. Voice acting is good, too (for 1998 game ofc xddd).
Considering the fact this is the first game that introduced this kind of story telling and real allies, it's top notch even. All the characters are very memorable and just CAN'T get out of your brain for the rest of your life. The third thing is the engine, this game was created with - Goldsrc is basically IDTech1 but better. This engine is now just outdated, but... but, just look, what people are creating with it. Signal Lost, Starlight, The Core, HL:E, Echoes, Timewarp, Invasion, Cry of Fear, anyone? :DD. There's so much mods and custom modding-platforms for this game. This engine literally started my career and my hobby, and maybe game-dev in the future.

That's pretty much all I wanted to say. Thank you, VALVe, for this amazing, legendary game. Thank you so much.
