343 finally got it right. This port of Reach is very close to the title release. While the game was not my favorite from the Xbox lineage, it is still enjoyable to play. If they handle the remaining titles like they have reach, Halo MCC will finally be the success that it has yearned for since it's poor release. I am most looking forward to H2A and H3, and I will update this review once those titles come out. As an 18 year veteran of Halo, I was excited to get this title and I have been enjoying customs with my friends as well as firefight. The pricepoint is better than I thought it would be too, grab this game if you've got the spending money and want to know how Halo was in the glory days.

I am returning to say that H2A and H3 were a huge success and 343 have demonstrated that they listened to the community. I know the game has some issues, but I have been around long enough to know Bungie did when they were at the helm. I've dumped most of my free time into reliving my memories from Xbox Live, but with new friends and a desire to knock out the trilogy in a single marathon. Campaign, multiplayer, customs, you name it. Thank you for putting earnest work into these ports 343. I am grateful and appreciative.
