Originally played it and beaten it completely back on the Nintendo Switch, yet to take the time to complete it on PC, but based on what I've played so far, it's a fine port and the Vengeance exclusive new content is great so far as well, can only recommend it.

Finally finished Terminator Resistance. Got all achievements, did a playthrough of the main campaign, Infiltrator Mode and the DLC. Pretty fun time, especially for fans of T1 and T2 (this game really wants to be canon alongside those two movies only), though it does affect the stories of those in a sense and it's debatable whether that's good or bad, but that aside

It's a fun game. Has that X360 era 20-30$ AA game feel to it. Movement, animations, gunplay, all of those are very basic, but servicable. The leveling system isn't anything crazy, though you definitely feel the progression as you gain perk points and get better equipment, so that's neat. Music and sound affects are from the movies, so it's incredibly fitting for what it's going for. Graphically it's good enough, character models and fire effects can be iffy for some, but considering it's a lower priced game from a smaller, generally less impressive dev team, it's fine. The main campaign and Infiltrator Mode were pretty polished IMO, I did have some graphical and sound bugs in the DLC, though nothing game breaking.

Definitely worth it on sale for fans of the first two Terminator movies, can recommend.

I'll be blunt: If you can look past the company's behavior post-release, then Tekken 8 is a great game and definitely worth a purchase. It looks great, it runs well, it plays well, good fun, easy to get into, customization is weak, but up until a few weeks after release, that was the only complaint I had.

A few weeks after release, they added the Tekken Shop, which is a microtransaction cosmetics store. I now know where to place the blame for the weak customization. To take classic outfits and even frequently recurring costumes from previous games and put it behind a classic Microsoft Points-esque premium store is scummy.

Now they also announced the Tekken Pass, the game's own battle pass, which will get you items and potentially Tekken Coins for the Tekken Shop.

This is a rather premium priced game, as I'm sure you can see, so to go and try to include every bit of F2P monetization scheme is just disgusting and disrespectful. I genuinely would be willing to buy all this if they just instead released a single pack of customization DLC at a reasonable price or even a specific season pass for it, again, at a reasonable price.

Ultimately, I can't recommend this game in good conscience. It's a great game, that feels scummier and scummier post-release and this should not be acceptable. At a 70€/100€/110€ pricetag, this is just not acceptable.

While this game could never become what they teased it to be, all the updates and changes certainly turned it into an enjoyable time. Fun gameplay, interesting story, characters you love and love to hate, good stuff.

Hopefully whatever comes next will be able to expand upon what post-2.0 Cyberpunk 2077 was and make it even better.

This negative "review" isn't about a displeasure with removed art or anything like that, but rather the fundamental idea, that after owning a game for as long as I, and many others, did, the developers just removed content for whatever reason and we can't do anything about it, besides this.

I enjoyed the game enough back in the day, but this idea that they can just remove content over a decade after it's initial release? I'd say that's not something anyone should advocate for, regardless of what content they removed or why.

I'm happy to say that I can recommend this game. It's not perfect, but it's definitely a fun time

It honestly feels like the best elements of Left 4 Dead 2 and No Man's Sky was blended together into a satisfying, humorous, often times challenging little co-op (and solo) experience

Extra points for all of the ridiculous, but often little interactive elements in the Space Rig, the game's hub. Surprisingly large amount of customization options, too, and while I do own the cosmetic DLC, it's very minimal compared to everything the game offers for free.

Can only recommend this game

2023 Edit: Over a year later, this game is still amazing and still had plenty of updates, love and care

Only giving it a recommendation, because the gameplay itself is very solid and there is some satisfaction in the brutality the game includes. Didn't play much of the online, but it also seemed like good fun, so if you're here for simply enjoying the gameplay, this is for you.

If you like these sort of games for the story, then I wouldn't recommend it, it's a mess. The unlockables are also handled rather annoyingly, though definitely better than Injustice 2, I'd still say they could do much better than this.

It's an alright time if you enjoy the sort of huge, limitless open world sandbox gameplay the game offers. Can't say it's my thing, but I see why those who like the genre would enjoy this one
