Just... one... more... DIVE

Dave the Diver is a fantastic exploration/management indie game about (you guessed it) diving. However there's much more than diving to this game.
Characters are diverse and funny for the most part. Except that nuisance John Watson.
You get to run your own (Bancho's) restaurant (and later a branch) which is more-or-less automated when you have enough employees, you just select the menu for the day.
Periodically there are lucrative events with an ingredient theme and VIP's asking for a specific dish.
The branch is fully automated and you just send ingredients for the branch manager to use in recipes that you have learnt in your restaurant. I honestly didn't like that you can't send all the ingredients for a dish in one go but have to send every ingredient separately and have to search for them one by one.
The fish farm is a way to accumulate fish without having to dive every time, given you have the fish eggs/roe required that can drop off your captured and/or looted fish in the Blue Hole Ocean. Still didn't get that second Sailfish egg after many tries lol.
Collect and cook/sell different flora and fauna dependant on the biome (depth) you're in, have a farm that supplies fresh vegetables, rice, eggs and a variety of side quests both on and off land (sea people - a faction you meet and help out)
For the most part, you'll need some weaponry and the local part-time anime enjoyer, part-time weapon manufacturer will help you out.
They did collaborations with two other indie hits: Dredge and Balatro
There is an event for Dredge allowing you to "dredge" and gather abhorrent fish in the evening which you can sell for good profits. For the latter, there is a mini card game which is fantastic, made me much more interested in Balatro as I originally didn't know what the hype was about.
I think more games should do collaborations like these, to promote each others games in a unique way by adding something in the game from the collaborated game you can interact with.

Overall, I really enjoyed this game and think it's easy to pick up and play.
It does get a bit repetitive towards the end and I wish some gameplay elements were introduced earlier but that's neglectable.
