The Best Game Ever Made! The hidden Gem and the Golden standard of the Ys games.

Ys VIII unquestionably the Best Game ever made and my beloved all-time favourite. Since my childhood I've always searched for great hidden gems, and this game I have to tell you, this is the sacred treasure, the true Gem finally be found which finally completed (not finished) my long journey. I'm thankful to my mother, who bought me Ys:Origins as a gift to switch, so I searched up all the game in the series, and when I found this one, I felt it's a love for the first sight, I must have to buy it. When I first started this game, I was in a really bad health condition and my life events were dire. But Ys VIII actually helped me out of those situations. Never will forget playing Ys VIII at the morning or night, and a sudden breeze came inside from the window, while I was exploring the beautiful and cozy island with full of mystery.

Pure perfection. The graphics are astounding, the world is majestic and gigantic. The story is large and ever expanding, never gets boring. Every single character is unique and interesting also much sympathetic and lovable. The combat is eye-dazzling and beautiful. Creatures are varied and stories are genuinely funny and heartwarming. And of course the greatest of them all, the Music is Golden, always fits to the situation, and just simply MAGNIFICENT, I couldn't even find the right words.. This is the game, I would not only recommend, but propose. An absolute Must-to-Play, the embodiment of perfection, an adventure everyone should see in their life at least once. You will certainly feel more complete after finishing this one. 10/10

Detailed:

Graphics:
Considering the circumstances, this game is beautiful. This was Nihon Falcom's first real try on the 3D perspective. Also they had a lot of limitation, and they still was able to complete the task perfectly. Every single location on the island is beautiful, the world is large and rich with nature, the models are unique and stylish. Even the little 2D short-animation movies are awesome.
Gameplay:
The essential part of any game, even the greatest titles struggle to keep perfect balance in the whole gameplay, but Ys VIII luckily nailed it. The movements feels fast and smooth, the skills are connect, the hitboxes works fine, the boss battles are really souls-like with much more reward, the items are a joy to use, the interface is clean and the task is understandable. Perfect keyboard and mouse support, rich tutorial pages are carefully lead you slowly over every single bit of information you need, and before important battles the game even draws your attention to not forget to set your team and equipments before a hard fight. Absolutely user friendly, so I can recommend to every single age and level of experience in gaming. Everyone will be able to play it, and will enjoy it surely, gladly! Perfect job, I can just praise it!
Story/Game Time:
Have you ever enjoyed a story or a dream so much you never wanted it to be end, but at the same time you was so curious that how the tale ends, you couldn't wait when will it happen the same time? This feeling mostly reach the people when reading a great book, or as a child listening to fairy tales. Ys VIII gives exactly the same enchanted feeling. You have a job to leave the island as quickly as possible, but your hearth will indicate otherwise, that you would never leave. Each story is unique, and never feels repetitive. Some of them are genuinely funny sometimes silly, and some of them are extremely heartwarming, thought-provoking. Altough first I was a bit unsatisfied with the ending, but after some thinking later I realised it was the best ending they could've choose. Just like a true RPG, the story is long and beautiful, to complete it at least once the game is easily: 150-200 hours long, but truly infinite potential, since it never gets boring.
Audio:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. A Golden masterpiece each one of this game songs, your ear will start dancing, every single little instrument is so fit into their place, every combat, idle and background music is just simply magnificent. If you show these songs to anyone with any sense about music culture, he/she will absolutely love it. There are simply nothing more to say about this, the perfect compositions without a question!
Achivements:
Perfection, it was a joy to 100% it out. Except the last hidden one, to complete the game on Nightmare. Well it was really a nightmare, but I enjoyed that one as well pretty much.
Price:
Absolutely worth it, especially on a sale!

✝️ 🦉 Sister Nia is underrated, she was my far favourite besides Adol Christin 🦉 ✝️
