so, when i first bought this game i originally got it for a nostalgia trip from the classic Zelda games, but once i dived into it i really saw what it had to offer. with a handful of characters each with different stats, items and abilities, to the hundreds of items with options for synergy to either make your own life hell or to make you overpowered to the point where the game or any of the bosses provide no challenge. With the dozens of bosses each with unique attack patterns and animations for you to learn this game takes quite the handful of hours to learn all of these to the point they are fairly easy to avoid damage. there is a set "path" towards progressing and unlocking different floors within the basement each harder than the last (usually).

This game has a tonne of built in challenge runs adding difficulty into the game again and completing these allow you to unlock more items for your normal runs.

The best thing in my opinion about this whole game is the modding community and although it has its fair share of garbage it has some dlc which is exceptional and the size of the whole game over again with a slightly added difficulty its own bosses, items and easter eggs to complete.

One of my favourite games in my library which i always come back to.
