It saddens me that this game was frowned upon by gamers. Because it is actually good. For me M&M-X looks like a large priceless ruby with small flaws and dents here and there.

Yes, it has filthy Uplay, but once you set it up it won't bother you much.

Game has minor bugs and glitches, but nothing gamebreaking so far.

It degrades performance after a few hours of gameplay.

It will have slowdowns when you pass through borders between locations with different objects (ex. From Plains to Forest), and poor performance in some locations like magic forest and jungle.

I don't have CtDs, or other stability issues.

Game has beautiful graphics and looks very nice. It also has pretty balanced and satisfying gameplay.

Barks of your characters were poorly done and feels like a result of lazy work.

Puzzles are somewhat easy to solve. Nothing too complex.

I can't remember a single RPG from the past that hadn't some bugs in it. For an example: There were bugs in Ultima 8: Pagan, and in both Ultima Underworld games, but they still were great games because of gameplay.

If you like this gameplay style and look and feel of RPGs from the past, then buy M&M-X on sale for a few bucks like I did. Game deserves to be played alongside with Legend of Grimrock 1 and 2.
