Having just played Transistor through and then replayed it again I can honestly say that this is an unusual, rewarding and in many ways unique experience. Graphically it is beautiful in every way, the scene setting, movement and narrative are very well thought out. You get just enough story to keep you guessing as to what the relationship between 'Red' and the 'Transistor' is all about and indeed the world in which they inhabit. The musical score is devine with unnecessary but brilliant qwerks like being able to make Red hum along to the background music.

I don't think that the fighting dynamic is perfect, in does not always feel rewarding to beat your opponent but the need to find out more of the story does provide the drive you need to continue.

As an overall concept however the game delivers big time. This is easly one of my favourite indy games and is sure to have a cult following. I loved every minute spent and would happily play it through again.

I have said this before about a few games but I am serious when I say, if you love games that tell a story then you simply have to take the time to play Tranistor. The developers have earned the right to be paid for something so unique, so pay up, sit back and enjoy.
