The DX version of Sonic Adventure is far from ideal, which is a shame because it's one of the greatest 3D Sonic games in my opinion. The game is in 4:3, and comes with all the hiccups that the original GameCube release struggled with. This includes, but isn't limited to, prone to glitching and getting stuck on geometry, inferior models and lighting, janky physics, and just a lot of little sections that are flat out working incorrectly.

If you're able, I would strongly encourage you seek out a copy of the original Dreamcast version, as it's still the definitive way to play Sonic Adventure to this day.
