Accurate Yakuza game ranking (every other one is wrong)

My Yakuza 0 review got banned from steam cause I said something really funny in it so here's what i think of the game:

This game is phenomenal. It is an action packed thrill with phenomenal stakes that never slows down. Every character in this game is brilliant, the obvious standouts being Majima, Nishiki and the Dojima Lieutenants. This game finally gives us an origin to Majima and it adds a whole new layer of complexity to the character that was not shown before. Same applies to Nishiki, Yakuza 1 didn't really go into his character a lot, but this game does, and not only does it make Nishiki a way better character, it also makes what happens in that game hurt a lot more. Out of the 3 lieutenants, Kuze is obviously the best, mainly because he starts out as just a regular thug that you have to take down, but as the game continues and we earn more about his origins and motivations, we start to understand him. Awano, while not being as good as Kuze, still stands out for the same reasons as Kuze. Shibusawa is easily the worst out of the three lieutenants, mainly because he has no real motivations as he's just the regular mastermind who wants to get to the top.

The combat in this game is also very good. It works very well in long battles and it works alright for bosses. Comboing bosses can be a bit difficult because, at least if you're hitting them from behind, most of the time they'll turn around after a few hits, but even if that fails you still have wall-bounding which works very well. In reality, i believe there is nothing wrong with the combat, aside from the fact that quick-change clothes are necessary to play this game properly, and also the fact that Kiwami did it better. The combat is also very satisfying in this game, if you've played it you know what I'm talking about. Majima's combat, while being very gimmicky, is still good and very fun to play in my opinion.

If you do decide to play this as your first Yakuza game, be prepared to get addicted (and spend your life savings on these games)

Lost Judgment - Amazing story, amazing antagonists, best fighting mechanics
Peakuza 3 - Great story, Mine, simplistic yet very fun combat
Yakuza 0 - Great story, great characters, good combat
Judge eyes- Amazing story, the judge men are standouts, good combat

A tier:

Yakuza: Like a Dragon - really good story and great characters
Yakuza Kiwami 2 - great combat, boring story, Ryuji carries this game hard
Yakuza 5 - good story and theme, really fun fighting styles
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life - really good story, brilliant ending and an alright fighting style
Yakuza Kiwami - alright(?) story, second best fighting mechanics
Yakuza 4 - messy story, really fun fighting styles

Mid tier:

Like a Dragon: Gaiden: good story, horrible combat, not worth $50

For being a shooter about Pants vs Zombies, this game is phenomenal. It's a shooter with the charm of the original PvZ, what is there to not like?

Let's start with the campaign since it's the less interesting part of this game. It's kinda just there, if you're new to GW2 I guess it helps give you a feel for the game, and OPS can be fun at times. But overall, nothing too noteworthy. The world building here is very good. The backyard battlegrounds feel very alive, and have a ton of secrets to find and mini-games to play. Infinity time is pretty fun, though admittedly it gets old fast, and, if you get enough shards, you unlock party characters, so at least there's incentive to play it.

Now, for the actual meat of the game. The multiplayer aspect of GW2 is fun as hell. This is purely because of how much variety you have with the characters. There are 14 classes and more than 100 characters in total, each class has their own gimmicks and play style, and each character in those classes has their own gimmicks. And the game encourages you playing with multiple characters with the leveling and ranking up system. And the variety does not stop there. There's a multiple game-modes to play here. Turf takeover where one team tries to capture the objectives, and the other team protects it. Team Vanquish, where the first team to get 50 kills wins. Gnome Bomb, where each team has 3 posts, and the other team has to blow each of those up. Suburbination, where each team has to capture bases to gain points, and the first to gain 100 points wins. And finally, mixed mode where you get to play each of those. All of these gamemodes are fun and have something for everyone, whether you are someone who actually likes to play the objective and be a team player, or if you like to frag and get high kill games. The only real problem with these is that getting a proper lobby in anything besides Team Vanquish, Mixed Mode and Turf Takeover is kinda hard.

Does the game have issues? Yes. Certain characters are more annoying to play against than others, and on the other side of the spectrum some characters are useless. Some maps are not very good (looking at you Time Park), and you might get a hacker in your game once in a while due to this game not having an anti-cheat (why?). But overall, there's so much fun to be had in this game that those complaints are insignificant, aside from maybe the hackers that's very annoying.

GW2 is one of the greatest shooters ever made and it's surprising to see that, to this day, it has an active player base. I really hope this game never dies so I can play it forever.
