Massive sandbox game with more or less linier progression. At its core its a solo/ single player grinding game about exploration. Collect materials to make stuff and keep going. Trade for space bucks to buy new and better ships, better technology for your suit and even build a home. I've been playing this since day 1, restarted new games after every major patch and a few other times. This thing butters my toast.

+Take me about 100-200 hours to do everything but there's not really an end

+Free updates. Every year (summer) they have released a new expansion that adds new content and rebalances stuff plus they seem to be doing 3-5 smaller content updates through the year now.

+Casual AF. My GPU can't run this on ultra but it looks amazing most of the time.

+Controls are easy. This is not a space ship simulator that wants you to spend 1 hour of your day traveling in a solar system.

+You start out pretty weak and can become more or less untouchable.

+I remember when this game had a mostly negative 9% steam rating. Look forward to the day it pushes past 95% in recent reviews.

-Don't play this is you want an action rpg. Combat does not happen much and its not the selling point.

-Don't play this is you don't like resource gathering, walking simulators, or LONG TERM games.

-Do not play this and expect to co-op. No idea why they added co-op and cross play. Maybe if your SO plays with you every time you do but this is not really a co-op game I would not say.

My fav game/10
