As a long time player of Dungeons & Dragons, particularly of 5th Edition, I can confidently say that Baldur's Gate 3 is the closest any game has come to capturing the actual D&D experience. The sheer amount of possibilities this game offers is truly astounding. I have oftentimes struggled connecting to CRPGs, but Baldur's Gate 3 is by far the best I have ever played.
