To be honest, it's a really cool idea and the floor plan they've advertised is very appealing and intriguing. The gore really does feel realistic and it gives you that sense of terror you could only get in something like VR. The game will probably come out in like 2 or 3 years into what they're saying it'll be, I can believe it based on how much they've proven with the current framework. The only real thing I'm not too happy to report is their execution.

This game is obviously a very ambitious title given what it's showcased and what it's advertising. However, I think that the decision to allow public access to the game is kind of handicapping them, as it's created unnecessary controversy and wrongful expectations. I've seen people complain about the issues with weapons and how unfinished the physics can be sometimes, as well as not having enough content to really justify the price tag. If this was on sale, I would get it but it will probably be that one game you play for an hour and it sits in your library for a long time.

VR IS NOT SUPPORTED ANYMORE.

Yet this stupid game and it's negligent devs would rather falsely advertise that during a VR sale instead of actually working on their game and making it engaging, and ykno, trying to actually get VR working.

This game is a massive disappointment that failed to live up to many promises and opportunities, I find it unbelievable how many people will support this incredibly shallow and empty feeling game. If you wanna do trucking in space, then I guess something is there for you, but American Truck Simulator has more depth than anything this game has provided in the last decade it's been out.

Game has a lot of potential that is still prevalent, especially given it's Early Access state. However, I think there's too many red flags currently to justify buying the game as it is. Currently, as this game stands at the time of this review, this game is no where near the 40$ price tag it tries to justify itself with, and it DEFINITELY does not deserve to be asking 80$ from users to be classified as "Supporters" and get a mere 2 week early update to the game compared to everyone else.

One of these red flags happens to be their approach to consumerism AFTER abandoning their publisher to pursue more creative control and directing roles, but the result of this has become tedious response times, negligible content updates, and the worst being the price tag. Nothing here, besides the beautiful graphical accomplishments made, has been anymore noteworthy than what you'd find in SWAT 3 or SWAT 4. Everything content wise is very bare bones, there are hardly many levels, the goals in each of these levels are very underwritten and unclear, and the world they are constantly promoting and trying to make just doesn't come off as alive as it does super empty. Nothing here feels like I'm encased in a torn society where people are having these political or emotional disputes in the room next door, or if there are any tense situations where if I don't do things carefully and more quickly, many more hostages could die or areas could get blown up.

There's never a real sense to any of it, only a false sense of caution. If you really wanted to, and it's not hard to do, you can go and kill everyone you see without much worry about a challenge. Sure, the AI may try to run around a corner and pick you from another angle but the depth of these frameworks and mechanics are just incredibly lacking and bare bones. There is never a sense of accomplishment when completing the objectives and everything is very lazily explained in terms of mechanics. Ordering your squad around is probably the most complex mechanics there are to the game, and it never feels like it's polished and refined.

The sense of urgency you would get from previous SWAT games is not here, and while I know there is plenty that the game could still do in future updates, the fact they are demanding 40$ for this is just horrendous and unjustified. I'd argue anyone who bought into the 80$ """Upgrade""" absolutely got dogged into a scam and it's pretty malicious of the devs to sit back and not say much whenever people have issues with their direction. Please wait on this game, do not buy it as it currently stands because you will see past all the pretty graphics and quickly unpack how bland the game is at the end of the day.

Good program, best way to capture moments very quickly and easily edit on screenshots. The only thing I can say is that the Steam Version is dooooooooooooooooooog crap.

Steam does make it sound appealing, but one of the issues you'll get is it will always be the game that your friends see 75% of the time. When ShareX starts on Windows Start-Up settings through Steam, a lot of issues can crop up on application functionality or if it'll even open ShareX at all. Other issues you can expect to encounter is that ShareX is always running on Steam, making any verification, uninstall, Steam restart, etc. more of an annoying task than it already is.

I won't dive too much further but the convienence you get from this application is waaay better standalone than it is through Steam. Just go to the dev's website and pull it directly from there, donate directly to them if you can!

its an aight br game, borrows a lot from apex and applies it to the masquerade. never thought about the concept of bloodhunts being a br, but it actually fits the idea very well. its done better here than in bloodlines lmao.

dont expect this to be bloodlines 2, it's something completely different.

the most cool thing is the level design. I love how symmetrical the entire map feels. You can really go anywhere and every area has a nice attention to detail. i especially love how you can look into the windows and see the rooms and bathrooms inside, it really makes the world feel packed.

Ehh, they dropped the ball on this one for me. I really love the Mass Effect series, especially the first game. Really itches that feeling for a DS9 video game. However, I gotta say this "remaster" is complete poop.

Mass Effect 1 was a game with so many bugs, and while they improved on a few things in this edition like the shooting and supposively the Mako driving, Mass Effect still feels as bugged as it did back in 2007. They've also made it somehow run so much worse than the original game. The amount of stuttering, FPS drops, audio snags and game breaking bugs I encountered felt even worse this time around than the original. Easily one of the worst renditions of the game I've ever played. Mass Effect 2 and 3 are very different. The games don't really feel any different than their 2009 and 2011 counterparts and all it seems like they did was up the graphics.

Now, with the graphics, they are pretty in this edition for all the games. However, Bioware has made a few odd choices when it comes to making the models seem realistic and smooth. Mass Effect 1 feels like a direct copy and pasting of the game with an HD texture mod, but a mod that doesn't seem to understand what it wants to do. See, ME1 has weird issues, characters will seem like they have doll like eyes, and the way the lip sync works on these new models can cause for some very odd clipping issues. Furthermore, the whole "4k Ultra HD" stuff they're saying in the description? The game doesn't even run dialogue and cutscenes on widescreen monitors past 1080p. This means you could be playing at 1440p or 4k settings but once a dialogue box or cutscene shows up, you get those stupid pillar boxes on the side of your monitor. A fix that's easy with a simple program, sure, but its something that shouldve been considered from the beginning. Another issue I have is the way the games use so much lens flare. It's not too crazy to joke about how Bioware games tend to use a massive amount of lens flare, but my god, when I saw the screenshots, I thought it was just a select few scenes. Nope, they use lens flare left and right like it's god's given gift to humanity. I could go on and on about the fidelity, the straight up broken AA options, the game's constant texture popping, and so much more. But I can't because I only have so much time to give any damns about this game.

So, given that I've said all this dirt against the game, why would I even buy it? Why not just get a texture pack for ME1 and call it a day? Well, I'm not sure if it's on my end or if EA/Bioware has pulled some sort of update, but I can not get the original game to launch on my computer. I have tried to look up solutions for it, but everything on the search engine is bloated by this particular game having it's own onset of issues. If you can get ME1 and launch it, play that instead, you're getting the more authentic and driven experience from playing the ORIGINAL trilogy than the LEGENDARY one. I shouldn't have to mod the supposive "remastering" into oblivion to get the experience I was wanting to buy it for. Thankfully, I did not fall for buying this thing for 60 dollars and got it for 20, which I'd say is a much more fair price for what you're being given in this title.

Take all the reviews you see on this game with a grain of salt, it's pretty much a given with Mordhau's community that everyone has their own direction for the game. Nobody has a decisive direction on where the game should go, not even the players, not even the devs. This is something that can be said for a lot of games out there, but with Mordhau, there is an exception in that it's a one-of-a-kind game, with Chivalry being maybe the one comparable asset (Although Chivalry and Mordhau play completely different from each other at this point). The community comes off toxic but it truly has a lot of passion for the game, which is why it's such a divided community in that regard.

Despite my own issues with how the developers have changed the game over time, I still think this is one of the best games I have ever played. No questions asked.

The hilarity you can experience from just dying is something most games can't provide, and I never got tired of it once. Even in the midst of being completely frustrated, somehow there would always be that one moment that would amaze me and give me that second wind to push past those struggles. In fact, the amount of hilarious moments I had in this game is what convinced me to continue playing, despite my own terrible skill set at this game. I can pull off some moves but I'm not anything impressive, and I'm still able to enjoy the game at my own level and in a casual way.

There really is no way to explain this game other than just hopping in and giving it a go, I could be that one guy who calls it a first person fighting game, but that is doing it a huge disservice to what it actually is trying to accomplish. The trailers paint the game's formula pretty well, and even with the lack of updates, the game's modding scene is heavy and supported greatly. Personally, and not to show any power levels here, this game truly saved my life in a lot of ways. It really is a homely feeling game that you can just jump onto and either try your best or just not give any ♥♥♥♥♥ and go at it for an hour.
