I just wanted to give everybody involved a big thanks for making this game happen. Compared to other studios that try to jam as many stimuli into their product as possible (which also extends to movies), Drova shines by infusing a simple representation with so much "soul". Instead of getting tricked into MTXs, watching tutorials on the "correct" way to play or fighting with strangers on the internet about the politics represented in a game, you can simply enjoy what is there. While a small game like Drova will never earn the title Game of the Year, for me it is the most important game made in qute a while and will always have a special place in my heart.

Danke!

While there is nothing inherently wrong with the game, there are almost no locations for you to explore, while the game keeps teasing you with setpieces that never come up: the mysterious scullcave, the castle of Hades, the deep forest. Even when you start accepting that you will only be able to access the areas marked on your map, the fields and elysium area get mashed together to a single boat ride, where you use 1 item to get another item.

Great Deckbuilding game at a discount price.
There are still some minor bugs, but the devs are fixing those in record speed.
The ability to keep some cards between runs is a great idea to have an easier time building focused decks.

I purchased the DLC because I have spent a lot of time with the base game and want to support the devs.
At the same time I have to say that this and similar DLCs are just bad value and considering all the effort that went into the lore of the game, there could have been a much more interesting theme than "lOl BeWbS!!!!"

I am kind of surprised, but Voodoo Detective was among the most enjoyable new game of the year for me.
It might not be a long game, but SSS just seems so make everything right in their first game.

Surprised that someone from Europe with a fox avatar leaves a negative review for this game? After getting way too OCD min-maxing in a RPG I was looking for something relaxing and SotN looked perfect in that regard. But there just isn't anything interesting going on in this game. The levels are empty with nothing interesting to discover (unless you can get excited about bringing 30 dead dudes their sticks) and looking at the playthroughs of some later levels, there isn't much of a story either.

Early Access Review
Red Mist is a fast paced deckbuilder from an indie developer. Similar to their previous game this one is just as easy to learn, but provides a ton of long term motivation. Despite some minor issues the game is in a pretty good state for an EA game.
While StS's map system gives you more control, each level in RM is one large battle where you level up and trigger events multiple times in between, which provides the feeling of an epic battle.

Not sure what this game tries to achieve, but it just is not an enjoyable experience at all. Maybe a less minimalistic approach would have been a better choice.

Great retro game ruined by horrible combat: No secondary ressources (mana / stamina), no individual targeting (you attack all enemies at once) and no individual actions for your characters.
