900 hours on record.

Remember when there were custom lobbies? Any player solo, duo or trio, could start or join a lobby, and decide if that lobby would be a good fit. Lobbies for people with good mics wanting a serious comp game. Lobbies for people wanting to mess around with 5 Torbjorns. Lobbies for people enjoying some herb, not doing much more than laughing their ass off.

Remember when you could see each others top 3 most played heroes? Remember when the primary game mode was open queue? You may have insta-picked Soldier because your aim was hot, but then suddenly... you were cold. In between respawns you could quickly see that your Mercy teammate played a lot of McCree. "Hey Mercy, I'm missing my shots. Wanna trade? You hop on Cree, I'll take a healer." - The game provided you with the insight to make an easy swap. In seconds your chances of winning went up! Never were you stuck on DPS with bad aim, or the team needed a certain counter hero that you couldn't give them. Now Open Queue has way too many people not playing seriously. Because Role Queue is the primary competitive mode, ANY other mode is just for funzies, right?

Remember when you could endorse every cool stranger you met? And if you were a cool stranger, you know you received them regularly.

Remember when you bought Overwatch, and every single hero that got added was free? Now I log in and jump in practice mode with Illari. She seems fun, lets play a game with her. Nope! Don't have her unlocked. This is a joke, and the same mistake League of Legends made. You can't have a fair professional competitive game where I first need to grind to unlock heroes, heroes that I need to win games!

Overwatch giveth and Overwatch 2 taketh away.

It was fun while it lasted.
