This game slaps some hard cheeks. A rythym based DOOM shooter with rougelite features is the perfect recipe for a bangin' game, and Awe Interactive nailed it.

Keep up the great work guys!! You deserve several phat smooches for this game!

You know what the world needs more of? Elite, real steel, high octaine and ultra skilled Dark Souls gamer fandoms.
Where remasters should be remakes, and if our real gamer games aren't perfect for us, then it's a disgrace to our culture. This is 2018 dammit, people need to be more culturaly appropriate.

This is a solid remaster. Does what remasters aim to do, and did it right. Smooth 60fps, enhanced texture quality, added graphical settings, and a fixed up multiplayer system. I don't really get why people expected more. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ diddling gift we get to play OG Dark Souls with this all this, without having to mod the ♥♥♥ out of the game. Hell the 60fps mod for Dark Rolls 1 wasn't that great of a fix to begin with.

It's like all these elite Dark Souls gamers forgot how diddled the orginal Dark Souls 1 was, especially with the multiplayer. A broken coveneant that could ♥♥♥ your save, summoning was annoying as ♥♥♥, especially since it was niegh impossible to play with a bud, and the lag was way worse. People forget the roots of ♥♥♥♥, and expect a remaster to fix everything they want better and blacker perfectly.

Also this whole shtick that the game is a $20 patch for something that should have been patched or fixed from the get go is goofy at best. The OG game was a port of a Xbox 360 game back in 2011. ♥♥♥♥ wasn't easy back then for porting console games i'm sure. I even vaguely remember From Software, or whoeva handles the updates and patches, saying there were many issues thet couldn't fix with the game itself, like the crappy fps and other big issues, without some major changes to the game itself. Don't quote me on that though, my memory is as blind and autistic as I am, but it would make sense.

What do I know though? We've hit a mangum opus for gaming these past couple years or so. DLC's and mircrotransaction crap running the big name developers, differing opinions on reviews for games causing hardcore parcore fans to smite anyone that doesn't agree with the masses with a Hiroshima level internent ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Things could not get much better then how things are these days. I'm just not a real steel gamer enough for 2018 and forward.

Oh hey, I didn't know I owned Rust, so I can review it!

Never was a big fan of Rust. Just not my cup of tea. I decided to leave this review however, because ♥♥♥ bringing a game out of early access and nearly doubling the price of the game without even finishing it. As a good 90% of the game industry has abandoned the old out dated way of having common sense, this is a great example of the new age way of thinking. 9.5/10. Price wasn't doubled, not expensive enough,

This is my 2nd review for today, both for very deserving games (the other was for Fairy Fencer F). Now I have honestly of all my time playing JRPGS have never played an RPG Maker game, mainly because they all really looked the same to me. But I have to say Machina of the Planet Tree really stood out for me, so I felt now that I own the game and I have played through some of it, it is deserving of a review (from someone who hardly ever does reviews haha so please bear with me).

Though made from RPG Maker (not sure which I'm assuming the most recent) looks almost nothing like an RPG Maker styled game. The combat is combo based with loads of very stylized and nice looking moves. The story is so far very well done. And the character art looks like it was drawn up by a professional or a group of people who spent lots of hard work and time devolping them. Just overall a game that is currently very deserving of more recongition by the community.

This game being as well made as it is,still has that very classic and turn based styled feel to it. So if that's not your cup of tea maybe this game wouldn't be for you. I only am mentioning this because of how lost the art of turn based RPG's has become. But it's how times change of course. Anyways overall verdict...
A game well put together using a very limited system, almost brings me to the point of being speechless haha. Well deserving of a purchase by any JRPG fan looking for a solid game.

Well that's about it from me! I thank anyone who happens to read this! And of course I hope everyone is doing well and living the best they can! Happy playing my fellow gamers! :)
