FINALy something different and unique in the shooter genre. The game is chaotic, fast paced, with smooth movement and satisfying combat. Small scale arena maps make it so you can always get to action fast, and all the destruction and abilities ensure that no two matches are quite the same. It has quickly become one of my favorite shooters to jump into from time to time and frag out.

Not everything is perfect though. The more you play, the more you notice some annoyances that the game has to offer. They come in the form of some busted weapons, very strong metas, and bad teammates. If you really care about winning or ranking up, these things will get frustrating very fast. But if you take it as it is and don’t worry about it too much, the game continues being very fun to play.

Pros
+ Combat is the biggest selling point. Shooting is hitscan, guns feel responsive, good to shoot with good feedback. TTK is reasonable. 12 (or 9, 10) player modes make it so you have fairer fights. Yes, sometimes you are fighting the whole lobby but more often than not you do get fair 3v3 engagements.
+ Movement is great. You can easily clamber onto ledges. Ziplines, jump pads, dashes – everything just promotes not standing still. There is no crazy movement tech like in Apex, but it’s still very satisfying.
+ Playstyles – a lot of different weapons and gadgets across the 3 classes enable you to have completely different playstyles. There is a bit of something for everybody.
+ Game modes. The main game mode Cash Out as well as the Tournament ranked format is not really present in any other game. The other game modes borrow from CS, Overwatch, or CoD Plunder. They are all nice, good to have some variety.
+ Updates – new map every season, 2 new game modes, ranked lite, free cosmetic events. Sure more things would always be better, but it’s alright as is. Regular balance passes and nerfs for all the OP stuff. People always cry when their favorite weapon is nerfed but it is usually for a good reason.
+ Cosmetics can be pretty cool. Some gun skins completely change the look of the weapon. Battle Pass gives you 1.5x currency back.
+ Playerbase is still very healthy at around 20k daily players. And probably much more on consoles, it is a very controller friendly game.

Cons
Strong meta and OP guns. There is always something busted in the game. It does get annoying dying to it repeatedly. If you can’t beat them, gotta succumb to whatever the flavor of the season is. Though things do get nerfed eventually.
Matchmaking. Probably the worst solo que experience out of any shooter I can remember. Maybe it’s because the game is so team based so the issue is amplified, but there is so much cluelessness. Climbing ranked solo is almost impossible. And for casual modes, just try not to care about it.
Aim assist – feels like every single person is on a controller, I almost never see an MnK user. Don’t know how strong aim assist actually is but it’s obviously a big factor, it has been nerfed previously.
Performance is mostly ok but it can get some frame drops especially when a lot of destruction happens. I have to play all low on 3070 for best consistency.
