I just finished my first playthrough and all I can say is; wow... This right here is, top-quality GOTY material. Capcom did a good job with RE7 but after seeing this, I can't stop thinking about RE3 and Code Veronica remake. I'm almost sure they're working on a RE3 remake or they're planning to work on it. If they're really going to do RE3 and Code Veronica, that will make RE fans dream come true and they will give everyone who hasn't played any RE game before a chance to experience the story from the beginning.

I'm looking forward to my 2nd and probably more playthroughs. I think 88 metacrtic is not enough for this masterpiece and I can't recommend this game enough. Also I recommend buying Deluxe Edition or at least original version soundtrack swap DLC. Even though remake soundtrack is not bad, it's pretty nice to swap soundtracks and feel the nostalgia. I played my first playthrough with remake soundtrack and I'm going to change it to original for my 2nd playthrough. Just like RE7, it's pretty well optimized and it looks gorgeous. Sometimes I felt like I was watching a movie because of realism of graphics. So I guess it's okay to say this game is 10/10.
