I have seen greater games than that, and this crap is having a sequel while Alien Isolation isn't. This industry is crazy. Gonna have to try harder than that if you want to scare me. It was a weak experience to me, bad mechanics, cheesy graphics even for its time and also, it has this old horror cliche that some of us are used to accept as ''great''.

The character is fully irritating and his documents after saving just tries to tell you the story, that the game can't show you, because the game is simply incompetent with that. An extremely low quality dialog is only follwed by your character's retardment, like Forrest Gump. Your only self defense is to run, nope you can't even throw stuff to diverge attention. So Run Forrest, Run.

You can take batteries to recharge, you can jump with a camera on your hand, you're the master of all guts on earth, but you can't take a club or a iron chair to hit a lunatic in the head. Who needs a dead cop's pistol when you're trapped with one hundred other lunatics? It's just better to dutifully act as a ''different'' game and take that battery on the cop's pocket instead. That's it.

Honestly, if you're oldschool, get your fingers out the buy button. It will only impress you, if you don't know much about survival nor about horror. When I was starting to like this because of its good moments (because they're there too) the game ended with a pathetic ending, only possible to come out from generic writting. It is no secret but might be an spoiler if you're a noob on the genre. Generic to me is everything that ends like B horror movies and its laughable rules. Rule number 1: evil always lives regardeless if the current logic shows otherwise. The game literally spilled every small good thing he had by swapping the theme from low pits of hell to cybernetic nano-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It simply didn't worked for me.

Try to imagine if this game could have some sort of low resolution recording, or you could choose it, so you could watch it all later in some sort of crazy afterwards? But the game could'nt even do that, making lots of things truly pointless.

I give to that "effort" a big f.a.k.k.ing zero.
