Something is lacking....

I expected the offensive, yet slightly goofy experience i had with Postal 2.
But sadly, that was not it. This is, at its release right now, worse than Postal 2, arguably even on par with Postal 3 of all games, at least in some areas.
I try to explain:

First, the good:
- The weapons are overall great! Well, do not expect the excellence from the best out there but some weaponry is creative and the sound-design like from the revolver is pretty punchy.
- Rick Hunter is back :)
- Some missions are surprisingly creative like the VR Mission

But sadly, that was pretty much it....

WTF is that optimization?? Bugs, glitches, some downright game-breakers where i just dropped from the map and constantly respawned outside the map.
Meanwhile this has bad NPC AI, runs ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than Cyberpunk 2077 at launch, while having worse graphics than games like Half Life 2 - a game from 2004, also with these "zap-zones".
RWS obviously tried to bring their comic-esque design from their intros/outros (and they look great!) into the 3D world, but they did not stick the landing. This game would
have needed another year.

The map is HUGE, but feels completly dead and empty. Not even kidding, many rooms and even entire houses simply do not have any insides. The city feels wide as a sea yet deep as a puddle.
They are a couple of side missions, but mostly the map is sprinkled with these "go postal" quick events who take a few seconds and are getting boring fast.

The humor. In short, they almost completly stripped the offensive - a trademark of the postal series - and doubled down on the goofy. The story and the humor sounds like its written by a bunch of redditors. Like
they are going out of their way to dip into some topics, yet avoiding to be too deep, while filling the rest with poopy-poopy seks-seks humor. We are talking about the same
company that made Al-Qaida terrorists with WMDs a mayor topic in Postal 2 not even 2 years after 9/11. Were they scared?

Overall, if you expect a worthy successor to Postal 2, you will be dissapointed, full stop. If you are seeking for something fun if you get bored, get Postal 2 instead.
