Game is pretty fun. Certain characters are way harder to use, and there's certain enemies that are annoying as hell but it does a good job of combo action gameplay mixed with roguelite. I wish the combos were implemented differently but I'm not much of a fighting game person so maybe this control scheme is liked by others.

I hope they keep updating and releasing new characters after the official 1.0 launch.

The game used to be a fun team based shooter. Now it just feels like CoD or Paladins. They want DPS in every role. The one shots and CC are stupid unfun. It's less about teamwork and more about trying to pop off and get a 5 kill on whoever you're playing, regardless of role. I miss when tanks weren't just the 3rd DPS. And recently I miss when healers weren't the 4th and 5th DPS.

It's really sad that there is no competitor for the genre. And Paladins is not a competitor, unless you like no roles and everyone is playing instant death characters, which is where this game is headed.

Control is a fun game that handles fairly well and looks beautiful while running. The 1 on 1 conversations are a little jarring with their facial movements but it's whatever. The biggest disappointment for me was the story. It always felt like you were 1/4th or close to 1/2 way through it before it ends. Threads are never resolved or stuff adequately explained. Even the dlcs suffer from this. But, the gameplay holds up well enough that the story serves it's point to get you to different places and bosses.

If you like Metroidvainias and throwing stuff around at enemies you'll enjoy this game.

Good hero team shooter with an interesting talent/loadout system.

But unfortunately the game favors near instant kills which gets very boring and repetitive. When you're playing against the interesting characters the game is incredibly fun, but most everyone picks the people that can kill you in under a second.

Great game with lots of things to automate. The 3D aspect is what gets me to play this over Factorio. Being able to walk around inside your factory and see it be built up around you is what the game is really about. It also makes you realize either 1.) you're amazing at building things; making them functional AND beautiful, or 2.) you are a spaghetti chef deep inside and it might hurt to admit it but it will free you. The stress will melt away and you will finally not feel like a failure as the things you need are actually getting done, instead of staying locked away inside of your mind never becoming reality because you keep wrestling everything because nothing looks beautiful and the ratios are wack and nothing is even

Great game just major performance issues that are just not acceptable. I am running a 3090 with 32GBs of RAM and an 8 core processor and I am getting 29-52 FPS. How is this port being called great when I cant even get a mediocre 60FPS stable. I can run any game at Ultra but this old Console game taxes more then any game I have seen in awhile. The team handling this port to PC need to fix this FPS stability issue. I turn off Ray-tracing and that barely helps. Optimize this mess of a port!

I haven't gotten to play with friends so I can't comment on the multiplayer but the single player experience feels like an after thought tbh. You lose items on death and that can sometimes set you back very harshly for how often you can die in single player to random things.

Cute idea but the RNG makes the experience feel very frustrating. You often go against people that feel like they had a stacked deck and a few rounds more than you.

The game has incredible potential but suffers from bad QoL issues. There's mods that fix a lot of it which is great but you shouldn't need to use mods to make the game enjoyable over a long period of time.
