Golden oldie, while the gameplay is as dated as you think, the story and writing of this game still remains topical, relevant, and even ahead of it's time all these years later, with some of the best character development I've ever seen in a protagonist. Please spend some time reading the in-game forum and news, you'll be surprised.

Massive improvement over the first game, with some great new changes to the formula along with plenty of QOL changes, with things only getting deeper and deeper over time. The lengths at which you can go to create a puppet now is miles ahead of the first game, although some facets still do get slightly overshadowed by others. Still, that core gameplay loop never gets old, with dungeons getting a much needed difficulty increase. It's very moving seeing this game grow from it's Vita origins to becoming it's own fully fledged thing. Eureka will be very sad if you don't play her game, so please make her happy.

One of the best RPGs of all time, masterworks all you can't go wrong

Amazing setting and world-building, amazing characters (Binah is love), and fun as ♥♥♥♥ gameplay. Project Moon have proved themselves to be a near-endless fountain of originality and creativity when it comes to their world, character, and stories time and time again. If you love card-building and deck-building games, strategy and turn-based combat, or just love RPGs in general, this game will most certainly be right up your alley. Modding scene is also very big too, with tons of fan-made content to toy around with if you want to.

The overwhelming amount of love, passion, and enthusiasm the devs have for every aspect of Touhou becomes more and more obvious with every minute that you spend playing this game. The music, the characters, and Gensokyo herself are all done extremely well, with the gameplay being both fun and relaxing (although time management later can get a little hectic). As a diehard fan of Touhou, this game is simply just pure joy to play, and I'm sure that other fans of Gensokyo and her inhabitants will feel the same.
