downgrade to an earlier patch, the game feels more fun being a broken mess than the attempt of a story it tries to create to attract the youngest audience possible.

you can use:
the steam console (steam://open/console in your run menu)
steamcmd (a commandline version of the steam client)
depotdownloader (the most unstable cdn downloader i have ever used)

for the steam console and steamcmd, paste "download_depot 747660 747661 1753262800287509610" and wait for it to say the download completed.
for depotdownloader, read a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ github readme and paste "DepotDownloader.exe -app 747660 -depot 747661 -manifest 1753262800287509610" while passing a username and password into the command. wait for several chunks of the download to "timeout" and then use the steam console because it actually works.

put a txt file named "steam_appid.txt" into the same folder as "fnaf9.exe" and paste 747660 into it. a steam emulator works too (you needed the game in your library to download in the first place, it's not even piracy!)

you now have the actually good version of the main game. enjoy your glitchy mess.
