The developers took their time with this DLC, although initially it may "look" the same as the base game. The Black Labyrinth does so much different and new that this actually feels like an expansion or spin off title.

This is a Review of Maximum Action before they split of from New Blood Interactive officially on October 13th 2020

Maximum Action is a proof of concept game. What happens if you jam pack Max Payne's slow motion and dodging in a Hotline Miami styled difficulty with Inspiration from 1980's - Early 2000's Gun Fu and Action movies in the graphical details of Quake? You get Maximum Action.

The gunplay with themed levels based off of movies and a really good gameplay loop for an endless mode, this game is easily comfortable to play after the first 45 minutes of shock of how different this game feels to other traditional FPS games. Hunter J Pierce's music (When the game was under New Blood's publishing) was very fitting though the original music (before New Blood's music updates with each level rework) was also nice in some of the original levels like the Hospital. It really got you feeling like you're the action hero in the movies.

This game is very much a work in progress, bugs and janky problems can and will arise but with the current asking price of $14.99, this game doesn't have too much to offer just yet. It's a great game but with a fairly low amount of content which you can probably finish and check out all of in just about 3 hours. I'd suggest waiting for a sale but if you like supporting indie devs, Maximum Action is a great game and I'd like to wish BalloonMoose good fortune in making Maximum Action as a good game.

Been following this game since 2017 from Andrew Hulshult's music, holy f**k this game is really good and worth every dollar you spend on it, even gifting to friends! Also Dave Oshry, I know you're reading this, Dusk Co-op When?

With the major lack of sound design, no real end goal and pretty much just running in a circle trying to kill everything. You maybe prone to being bored quickly which was what happened to me. I get some people enjoy the quick movement and intense 1 shot to die play style, but the lack of any sounds makes the game boring.

With nearly 6000 hours in Warframe, this game's history has been very good and continues to create good content. Although production has slowed down lately, this is still an amazing game.

An old classic game that has much to relive from the past. While most players are now playing CS:GO, CSS is still fun with friends who enjoy nostalgia. Though, not much can be said about the competitive side of the game...

Raid: World War II is a fresh look to the Diesel engine (Payday 2 game engine). Despite critiques by people reusing "bad graphics", "literally a payday 2 reskin" and etc, this game is very different and is more mechanically interesting.

Raid: World War II is very different compared to Payday 2 in many different ways. For example:
Lock picking is now skill based rather than waiting for 20 seconds.
You have to manually pick up ammo and medical supplies off the floor.
Carrying and hiding bodies are now a challenge compared to hiding a small bag.
Stealth now has suspicion modes and individual detection meters.
Weapon upgrade challenges.
And much more.

There are still some negatives to the game however, although most of these issues were fixed, a majority of the issues mainly sit on balancing certain enemies and difficulty.

Overall, this game is different from payday 2 and brings a fresh feel to the gameplay. It's a good game and does some things payday 2 didn't do that is interesting. Give Raid: World War II a fair try.
