Pacific Drive is such an interesting game; there are so many references and a certain cozy feeling about being in a car that can be upgraded. It's like finding yourself in a DeLorean from Back to the Future.

The world is vast and so odd, like, really weird... you can watch electric balls appearing from nowhere, mannequins that act like Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, and so much more.

Fundamentally, it's an exploration game within a rogue-like. You'll visit places and pick up important resources so that later on, you can use these same resources to upgrade your car/garage (yes, I didn't mention it before, but you have a garage that can be upgraded, unlocking tons of interesting new features).

You know that feeling from road-horror media? Like you're traveling by car and then you see something really strange in the trees, but you've already passed by that place so it's just something in your head now; 80s radio programs telling spooky stories. It's like that, and it goes on.

The game is incredibly good, especially when you consider that there's nothing quite like it.

Yes, I kind of love this game and hope you do too.

BOM DEMAIS

Eastward is a true masterpiece. From its plot to the cooking aspect and overall gameplay, it's... incredible. Prepare to laugh, cry, and be happy for over 20 hours+ (if you want to do everything the game has to offer). The main plot is so good and the ending is one of the best things i've ever seen in a pixel art game (that battle with Alda? Oh ♥♥♥♥ that was brilliant).

So, guys, don't sleep on this one - Eastward is gorgeous, funny, sad, happy, incredible and will fill your heart out. Plus there's another game (in form of a minigame that is called Earthborn that is basically a dragon quest esq- YOU GONNA LOVE IT).

Play it play it play it
