They've "remade" 3 maps from Vermintide 1, along with original bugs and holes in the levels and want your money for theese...
They gave Karak Azgaraz maps for free, along with the Treacherous Adventure, but do want your money for any new carrier path twice (said carriers cosmetic stuff is sold separately)...

Never the less, this game works, and it works well.
Definitely can be enjoyed without DLC, for the base game can provide enough content to last you a while.
