I'm sorry but only 2 character slots for a b2p mmo and having to wait 7 whole DAYS to delete one of them if your character is over a certain level?!

Not only that there is no grace period for the queues so if you crash/DC tough luck you'll have to go through that 1hr queue again. This is very problematic for me since the games audio keeps cutting out every 15-30 minutes and requires a restart to fix it.

I really cannot recommend this game in it's current state.

Got 100% on the ps4, now it's for me to do it again here on PC in glorious 60fps.

Amazing series of games, highly recommended playing all of them starting with 0.

Not as good as Yakuza 0, it does have it's fair share of problems. My biggest gripe with this one is the bosses where you're constantly getting knocked down and several technical issues, however with that said you're still in store for a great story with very likeable characters.

If you're expecting as much content as 0 then don't, this game is a remake of the original Yakuza on PS2. There is about 78 substories unlike the 120 you get in 0, but still you'll get around 20 hours for the main story and will probably get around 60 hours if you're a completionist, which is still quite a bit of content especially considering this game is only £15.

Pros & Cons:

Pros:
- Great main story, especially considering this is a remake of a 2005 game.
- Great Characters
- Nice OST (Not as good as 0 but still some great tracks)

Neutral:
- Less content than 0, this may bother some people but others it may not, you're still getting a hefty amount of content but there is less minigames and substories in this one.

- Majima Everywhere System, I loved this and it was quite hilarious at times, however i'm putting this under neutral because I can easilly see how people could get sick of these encounters after a while.

- Bosses, a lot of them in this game are really difficult and not in a good way. Very annoying and repetitive knockdown tactics from them. I found it took me quite a while to take down some bosses and had to carry healing for all of them, however there are a couple of bosses that I did enjoy especially the final boss,thus this is a neutral point for me.

Cons:
- Combat doesn't feel as fluid as 0 for some reason.
- Stuttering in some areas of the map (atleast for me)

Edit: I have now finished the game and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I highly recommend this one despite it's flaws.

I'll give Yakuza Kiwami an 8/10 despite it's issues. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Yakuza Kiwami 1 and am looking forward to playing Kiwami 2 .

I don't usually write in-depth reviews for games, however for this one I will do just that. This game is a phenomenal hidden gem I only just purchased the other week, It had been on my watchlist for a while but I cannot believe it took me so long to get around to playing it.

The asking price for this game is absolutely astonishing, only £15? If you were to rush this game and focus solely on the main story you're still looking at a playtime around 30+ hours. I really do hope this game gets a bigger following, it really deserves it and no, it isn't a GTA clone at all, infact it is nothing like it. If you're a completionist you're probably looking at a playtime over 100+ hours easily, great value for money here unlike your £50 AAA with a 4 hour storymode...

Quick rundown of the pros and cons:

Pros:
- Brilliant 30+ hour story
- Tons of side stories
- Great Characters
- Tons of humour
- Great combat with several different styles you can switch between on the fly.
- Beautiful cutscenes
- Many side activities

Cons:
- All other content besides the main story has no voice acting.
- Dated Graphics
- A few bad animations, particularly the mouth movement when characters are conversing outside of the pre-rendered cutscenes.
- The ultrawide monitor support could be better.

This game is probably the best i've ever purchased in a winter sale for several years, I've had so much fun with it and plan to purchase Kiwami 1 and the other Yakuza games after experiencing this Masterpiece.

Overall 9.5/10.

Much better than paying $60 for Fallout 76 that's for sure.

best £7 you can possibly spend on steam, worth every single penny. Honestly this is a game I would consider purchasing at a higher price it's that good. You can probably do an entire playthrough in 100+ hours easily and then on top of that you can get mods that adds even more content to the game. I guess the only thing I wish this game had is the ability to make the world larger and perhaps more extensive mod support.

One of the first games I ever played in my life and still one of my favourites. It may be old but it's still holds up as a great RTS game. Would highly recommend this one.

1.6 is a step in the right direction but it still needs work. RNG traps sucks and if you want those 5 stars for each level you're going to have to rush through each without planning since the timer also takes place between wave breaks :/ Some heroes especially the ranged ones feels very underpowered, when you get some big nasties close to your rift you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Also I'm not sure if this is just me but the multi-tasking in lots of the maps feels a bit ridiculous, back in Omd2 I was able to 5 skull every level on nightmare and be able to plan how I would go about each level, here I'm on warmage with barely any of the better traps due to the rng chestloot and only getting 1-3 stars on each level, might be because I suck or the people I join suck but thats what happens with me anyway.

Will change to positive at a later date if theres some changes.

Would give this a 'mixed' review if I had such an option. This game is so much fun but is riddled with bugs and glitches.
The concept of the game is fantastic and would recommend it ONLY if you're able to run the game, this game seems to be difficult to get running smoothly.

I personally wouldn't recommend the PvP side of it unless you're prepared for the grind and getting wiped by elitists all of the time, however PvE can be super fun and full of friendly people. There is also a wide range of mods with new maps, items and dinos so the game has quite a big lifespan if you ask me :)

I would definitely recommend getting this over the original. The graphics have been improved and it runs much better. WIth the original I was getting constant stuttering and low framerates no matter what I did with my game, with this however my fps never drops below 60 and I don't have any stutters. It's a really fun game when you can actually play it!
