Now that Total Annihilation is now on Steam. This game deserves a remastered or remake version.

I tried playing on different versions of Proton, but in all of them when I try to open TCP/IP listing it shows "Update" message for a second and goes back to previous menu. I can't connect directly to my friend's server either. On Windows everything works fine....

Has anyone been able to make multi-player work? hosted a server under IPv4 address but I did not come up on my friends end; same when they tried to host a server as well.

In July 2013, Wargaming bought the Total Annihilation franchise from Atari's bankruptcy proceedings. Did they originally plant to do anything with the IP does anyone know? TA is still considered THE definitive RTS so it would make sense to acquire it but 11 years later I can't say I've seen TA2 anywhere :=)...
