In-depth review from seasoned mahjong veteran:

I've been playing Riichi Mahjong for some years now, and the one thing that is lacking until recently are good English Riichi Mahjong clients to play on. Back in the day, I had to learn enough Japanese to navigate menus on Japanese Video Mahjong, or Chinese clients that didn't have English yet.

Pros:

-This client is clean, fast, and very aesthetic. It plays well offline. Havent tried online yet but it's so unbloated I doubt it would have any issues.
-Devs seem to listen to community feedback!

Cons:
- No Japanese terms for the yaku yet (which are used in most online/in-person mahjong communities), though I am hopeful that the devs will add a toggle for those who would rather see "riichi, tanyao, daisangen, ect." instead of the English "pure double sequence, call, mixed tripple chi, ect."

---would I buy it?---

With so many free clients out there adapting English like Mahjong Soul (which can be scripted to solve the above issue), Sega MJ, scripted Tenhou, and potentially Mahjong Hime, why go for this client? Well, it's simply very clean, no gimmicks, and very aesthetic. When you want to jump in for a game without all the hassle of anime girls, confusing menus, ect. This is a great option for enjoying some solo play or possibly online play (I don't know if it has intentional discard lag to keep chi/pon/kan a secrecy yet). Would recommend as devs seem to be working to make it better for their player base!

As of 1.0.2 Romaji terms have been added to the game!
