Great job from devs, this is how an Alpha should be.

Fails to launch 9/10 times and hackers rule the game. Literally, even the CEO cries about it on twitter.

So much potential tho, def better than SA Dayz

Before reading, know that I have not played the "Generals" part of the game.

This game is incredibly fun but because they do not give you the ability to purchase the game for $60, I am not going to give it anymore attention. It's pay to win, I do not care what your favorite paid-for youtuber said. Those guys get paid to say mostly positive crap about any game so take them with at least a pound of salt.

So yeah, its fun but way too expensive to compete with the people that are shelling out cash for this game. If I was to want to play this game at Vet status (the paid bonus), this game would cost me almost $4 per day. Even if I really loved the game and wanted to continue without shelling out money, I cannot because eventually you need to buy more granades (they give you like 90 to start) --- YES THEY ARE ESSENTIAL!

OH AND ITS DEF PAY TO WIN -- Vetern status gives you the ability to gain an additional BADGE SLOT, these slots GIVE IN GAME BONUSES THAT ARE VITAL!! Oh and guess what? Nobody on your team bought a car? You lose, enemy team will always be faster than you and therefore have the abilty to transport units to objectives much quicker. =(

In-game currency is fairly easy to obtain and item purchases are forever but items are very expensive and if you make a mistake (like I did) it could cost you 4 hours to retrieve the money spent (this is pretaing the M1 G gun, I can't imagine the more expensive guns).

Game mechanics?
Good but theres a ton of annoying crap that sometimes gets you killed.
- Guns sometimes refuse to unholster
- Proning is beyond annoying and glitchy
- Crouch walking is almost impossible
- In certain buildings you can only shoot through ONE side of the floor. So today I was on the ground floor, trying to shoot a guy through a wooden floor in a barn. He was not moving, i shot multiple times and nothing happened. Finally he figured out where I was and shot through the floor and killed me. Wtf?
- You cannot pick up a 2nd weapon in any slot. So if you kill someone and do not have any granades left but want to keep their weapon, you must forfeit your own.

Sad to see the industy turn to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pay to win. I want to support the dev's but I refuse to pay to win. I'll buy the game and thats it. Even first day DLC's are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Take me back 10 years ago. When a title was released, a year went by and that is when they made an expansion. Seems only Blizzard is doing this today.

This particular version on steam is NOT worth the buy.

Go find the original you purchased 10 years ago and simply play that.

I am only leaving the recommend because I spent 10000's of hours into the original game, one of my most favorite RTS games of all time.

THIS GAME is far better than ALL OTHER ZOMBIE GAMES. YES, FAR BETTER!!!

Sure, it does not have the PVP aspect but the CO-OP is VERY FUN!

The game itself was awesome.

For some reason servers completly sucked and made the game completely unplayable.

This game needs years before being remotely playable.

In short, do not buy, go read forums.


In case you don't know, the original developer of this game is a total scum. He released the alpha, took the money and left the game in alpha. THERE NEEDS TO BE A LAWSUIT, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

There is a "forum" for this game, you should check it out and try to see exactly how slow the updates are, I have purchased this game the day it came out, since then there have been 0 significant updates, for some reason they keep putting random, useless loot instead of focusing on issues such as poor zombie mechanics, terrible melee combat and LOADS of glitches. Virtually no zombies in this game and if you find any, they teleport around and walk through walls and/or ground (yes, imagine a head sticking out from the ground attacking you). Oh and just like arma, this game runs like sh1t.

Want DayZ? Go buy Arma 2 + Operation Overhead and simply play the mods, those mods have YEARS of development poured into them and are far better than all of these garabage, unfinished alpha scam games coming out today. This is coming from a person that has been searching for an alt to arma 2 mods for years!


Side note, the positive reviews on here are either fake or written by tards that love the "running simulator" games and/or have WAY too much false hope.

This game just does not work, constant crashes, bugs and endless garbage mods that will forever remain in "beta". I hear they're working on Arma 4 so this game wont even see anymore bug fixes, instead they will release ♥♥♥♥ DLC.
