It's Mass Effect. What more could you want? Mass Effect 1 has been updated to look and feel more like the second two which makes it much more palatable in 2021. All 3 include all DLC which only extends the gameplay well beyond the hundreds of hours you will probably spend playing these games! My playtime is only with this edition. I have spent more time in each individual game and I don't regret a second of it. If you have never played this series, do yourself a favor and just play it already. If you have well...play it again!

When browsing reviews for "The Outer Wilds" you may have seen the reviews that all seem to state a similar idea...games as art. Those reviews are absolutely correct. This game IS art in every sense of the word. The sense of scale (even though the solar system is diorama sized) to the uniqueness of each and every planet to the music! It is all done with such harmony that it is a wonder how the developers created such a cohesive system that lends itself so well to pure unadulterated exploration! It is "wild" to think this game started as a thesis statement for a collage class, and has become such an icon in the gaming industry as a game that has been done "right". This game eschews traditional tropes such as combat and "enemies", and instead gives the players the tools needed for exploration. You can beat this game within 20 minutes IF you know what you are doing. This 20 minute game time is extended by the mechanics that force you learn at least 35-40 hours of game-play before being able to reach the end. The sheer wonder and joy of exploring each new, and very different planet make learning each new rule and objective that much more enjoyable. If you ever hesitate to buy one good game to fill your time...please....make it "The Outer Wilds". This is a game that is worthy of not only your time, but alo your praise.

This game is early access but one of the most polished early access games ive ever played. The UI is slick and easy to use and although theres not much of a tutorial its easy to pick up and figure out plus it leaves more to your own creativity. You can build machines from simple and efficient to outrageous and almost useless, but what you can create is limitless which gives this game plenty of replay value. Hopefully the dev keeps up with it and adds content to make an already great preview even better. If you have even a little creativity and like building all sorts of contraptions support the dev and get this game!

Not a new game by any means, This standalone expansion for the first Dawn of War is by far one of my favorites! While not being a recent game it has decent graphics but better yet excellent RTS gameplay. It has superb base building which has been a staple of RTS for years. You can build up a huge army then crush the enemy or maybe you want to send in smaller squads in at a time to weaken them. There are many ways to play and the campaign offers nonlinear gameplay. Oh did i mention there are 7 races to play as with different units and very different play styles for each? The online multiplayer is great with 8 game modes and customizable matches.

This is a game I highly recommend to anyone with an interest in RTS!
