I...huh. I'm as shocked as you are. I storming love this series. I'm planning to get a Bridge Four tattoo. But this was...not up to the same standard as the first three books. Don't get me wrong, it was good, I did enjoy most of it. There were some parts that brought me to tears. Unfortunately, some of those tears were from boredom.

The "twists." Pretty much the last 7% of the book was complete codswallop. It was not laid out, it did not add drama, it just made me mad about what's about to happen, and confused why we'd spent so much time setting up some other story, if this was the way this book ends.

It all began when Pat Rothfuss was born to a marvelous set of parents. Throughout his formative years they encouraged him to do his best, gave him good advice, and were no doubt appropriately dismayed when he failed to live up to his full potential.

In high-school Pat was something of a class clown. His hobbies included reading a novel or two a day and giving relationship advice to all his friends despite the fact that he had never so much as kissed a girl. He also role-played and wrote terrible stories about elves. He was pretty much a geek.

Most of Pat's adult life has been spent in the University Wisconsin Stevens Point. In 1991 he started college in order to pursue a career in chemical engineering, then he considered clinical psychology. In 1993 he quit pretending he knew what he wanted to do with his life, changed his major to "undecided," and proceeded to study whatever amused him. He also began writing a book....

Thinking about it, isn't speedrunning incredibly philosophically consistent with the themes of the game? A large part of the game is learning all the techniques and physics the Nomai learned before, and building a path to your objective using them. Speedrunning is much the same way: many people come together to scour the game for any exploits and techniques the game provides, whether intentionally or not, in order to construct the quickest path to the objective; a communal effort to see how far the game can be pushed, mechanically and temporally. The cutscene storage that you showed off months ago coming in for this run cued me in on this, since it's a technique learned in the past that can now be used to reach the objective. It's incredible.

So sure we might sound a bit passive aggressive, but that's for your own good. There will come a time where this server doesn't exist anymore, and the site is only downloadable, with no support. And you will have to figure out yourself what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong.

If I accept your Zombie torso app, will you at least ATTEMPT to improve your IC and OOC attitude and habits?

We try to do things differently here than on most other servers. The team and I, adopted a way of "passive aggressiveness" because it works. It gets the job done, quickly and efficiently. We have so many cool tools in place to get the information you seek. Information that was asked before you, 99% of the time. So please do us a favor, and yourself.
