Oddly relevant. Really well designed platforming and movement tech mechanics. Soundtrack was quite cool but got old after I had been in the level for some time. But just banging out the challenges while listening to some Cloud Rap or Techno really is sick, so recommend. PNG chase demon stressed me tf out. Will definitely play once it comes out fully.

A while back I played a weird little indie game called Dujanah and decided that I would back J.King-Spooner's next game on Kickstarter. To now see what that product is, was a journey and a joy. All of the idiosyncracies of their previous game, now re-imagined in a Highland Scottish setting, with music and accents to match is all I could wish for and more. One moment you will laugh at an enemy design or a bit of charming dialogue from a lovingly rendered little clay creature, the next you enter someone's home and are hit with some of the most thought provoking and emotional bits of prose that you'll ever have the pleasure of reading. This game also has combat, and it is to my delight not ♥♥♥♥. The puzzles and world design is also fun to engage with. A monumental achievement when it comes to handmade models in a game, not to mention how beautifully it all comes together. The music is also just absolutely gorgeous. Had this just been an album I would have ate it up all the same. Luckily for us there is a whole game here too, a game with a big heart, and lots to say. <3

If only this game didn't crash so often and the netcode was less fragile than my skill level.

Funky fresh beats

Wholeheartedly an experience that is made or broken by your love for robots initially, but to be honest, if you tell me you don't like mechs after playing this game I don't believe you.

It's the Armored Core formula: Do missions, listen to military/corporate edgelords give you orders, get some racks, buy parts, make AC, do cool big mech stuff. No crippling debt this time though, for better or worse. The controls on gamepad are really smart. Four different buttons for shooting. God bless. I can't say much on how it stacks up to the other games as I've only played a bit of 4answer, but what I do know, is that I am having fun, and I hope the series gets a positive enough reception that it can keep existing.

Almost beats out Yakuza 0 for best bowling.

You have to pay for frame data though, which is pretty silly.

This could be the coolest use of storytelling in the roguelike genre I've ever seen.
