I wish I have something clever to say but at 255 hours with everything unlocked, I can only say that my relationship with this game has outlasted any romantic relationship I had.

While there are problems with PC port not being the most intuitive or accessible, the writing is charming and humorous, the characters are endearing in their own ways, and the backgrounds of the game is simply gorgeous. There's also animation in both backgrounds and cut scenes, making the game livelier than your average visual novel. Definitely recommended <3

EDIT with problems for PC port since I was asked to clarify: Basically PC port has a problem with not being able to change between full screen and windowed, at least not anywhere accessible enough to be seen easily since I have been searching and there weren't any in the settings.

The full screen is also not up to scale with the monitor resolution so the art ended up looking low-quality with the edges bleeding. You can see problems like this for games like Steam Prison which look fine windowed but poor quality full screen.

The PC port basically took a copy-pasta of a handheld game but without the necessity optimization to play on a computer. The controls are just not immediately obvious to a player, I said this as someone who played a lot of visual novels in the past. I had to do a bunch of tests before I found which buttons do what. Home = Quick Menu, Page Up/Down = Auto/Skip.

Even with a controller, the game's binding is really weird and makes it inconvenient to navigate.

These are not usual keys used in visual novel on PC and there is no instruction for it the moment you open the game.

Also, nitpicking but I'm a player who don't really like voices because I read really fast but even when you mute voices, some lines still bleed in. While I had the voices enabled, there are lines spoken without translated subtitles on screen to help players who don't understand Japanese.

I'm on the third scene right now and while the other scenes were decent but the one with cameos were obviously shoe-horning and there was no choice to walk away from it. Basically you have to spend time with two intolerable cameos from another games that add little substances to the game and it looks, more or less, like the whole scene is just an advertisement for their other game.

EDIT: I have finished the DLC. And yup I know I can just skip the moment but you do realize that after played it the first time, the bad experience stuck anyway? Yeah. I left a positive review in the original game too, just not this one. I was going to update this one into a positive review if the last two moments were good, but they are just... not there.

I honestly found the new moments in the third step overall pretty boring, aside from the one with Cove's family where the backstory behind his parents' divorce was unraveled, the rest are mundane and repetitive. Play it if you just care about new contents, I personally found it not to my taste.

Oh god the romance with Leon tore my heart out at the end, okay, I love this series to death. I already bought three copies.

I have absolutely nothing to say except I love this game with my whole heart, I've played over 40 times and still don't get bored. Something is wrong with me.

Jokes aside, this has a lot of replay values thanks to the many species and romances it has.

If I wanted unnecessary trauma, I would've gone to talk with my parents instead of playing this.

This game owns my soul and everything else that I can offer.
