Made the game feel like souls, but they forgot to make the game fair instead of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Probably one of the best entry level Soulslike games on the market, game is pretty easy, most enemy attacks are very telegraphed and easily dodgeable. Weapons, enemies and map are pretty interesting. Though one of the biggest problems in this game, is that the optimisation is absolutely horrible, had to take settings down to medium to have consistent framerate, some areas in the game drop from 80/90 fps to 60/50. If Vsync is turned on (For example 60FPS) expect the game to suffer insane lags, dropping to 30 frames, which for a souls game is a big no no. Another thing I notice in this game, is that almost every single alley or street is locked, making you walk around the map back and forth and around just to get to an objective, which takes you to a boss fight, and it goes like that for the rest of the game, which honestly gets very annoying after some time.
In my opinion this game is a strong 7/10, mainly because of the optimisation, repetitiveness and game not being challenging enough

Pros:
- Beautiful graphics
- Decent story
- Well written characters
- Interesting Locations
- Cool looking set pieces

Cons:
- Aiming with mouse feels jittery and unprecise
- Stealth
- Character don't understand anything and then BAM: "Wait a minute, if that means that then that means that there is that" For basically every clue.

Would definitely recommend this game to people, who just want a simple action game to pass time. Although the humor and mission structure is outdated. Would cop this game for like 5$ or less

Game keeps crashing in upgrade menus, and it just happens at random and no fix is available. Other than that this is a really basic FPS Open World Action game with decent combat and interesting abilities

Goofy ass AI and mechanics, other than that it's pretty decent, although not for the full price.

Good old times, when Ubisoft actually made great games. Decent character customization, fun gameplay. All you need is some mods/fixes to make this game more playable and it's fine. Definitely buy it if you like semi tactical games

Easily one of the worst games I have ever played in my life. And it's not that definitive edition is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but the entire game even the OG version is insanely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Cops are aggresive as ♥♥♥♥, cars are paper thin just like your main character who melts if someone farts in his direction. Mission design is absolutely awful, 80% of the missions are literally the same or variations of one lets say instead of killing someone you have to explode something. Story makes no sense at all. Incredibly frustrating game to play, I can;t even pretend that I enjoy it, that's how infuriating it is to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

But the car goes vroom, so buy it

The atmosphere is incredibly unsettling, dark and makes you feel literal fear most of the time. It boggles my mind how a game from 2005 does it better, than most Triple A games coming out now. Combat is very fun, particles n ♥♥♥♥ flying all over the screen, enemy AI is superb and to top it off guns and equipment sound powerful and beefy.
Although to play this game nowadays, you'll need widescreen fix, and for people with motion sickness like me FOV fix is really needed. But the fixes are easily accesible, and combat the rest of the game still holds up pretty well.
Would definitely recommend to play it, when it goes on sale.
