UPDATE: It has been over 2 months since the game launched and there has been no support for it whatsoever, except for that one "major" patch a month after release that patched like, 2 important things, described below. This means that over 2 months into this games' release it is still riddled with bugs, glitches, and officially supports just 2 aspect ratios(!!!). TES V Skyrim owners will remember a very different treatment to that game as huge patches were flowing regularly, with the occasional free content update to boot. Considering Asia has received even less support (google it) for the game they paid full price, I can honestly say the modding community deserves our money more than Bethesda, as they are our only hope of getting full enjoyment from this game now. Worst 60 euros (65$+) I've ever spent.

Alright, let's do this.

I'm not writing a negative review due to Fallout 4 "not being a Fallout game". The game is indeed ridiculously simplified and mainstreamed in a huge number of ways compared to Fallout: NV and I do NOT approve of such designs, but at the same time times are evolving, companies change and it's their game, they have the last word on what gets added and removed. The whole package along with the stuff they DID add to the mix tho -someone could argue- is still worth the 60 (freakin) euros they charge for it. Since, the game is huge and many hours of gameplay in it and whatnot. I'm not here to dispute that either.

What I AM here to do is, not recommend the game for a couple of reasons: First and foremost, we 2016 (two thousand and sixteen) at the moment of writing the review. How ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DARE you include just 2 aspect ratios to the game leaving all others having to either play in windowed mode in a lower resolution or resort to manually editing .ini files and end up with a host of other problems because of it? It's mind boggling as to why resolutions for 4:3, 5:4, ultrawide or any others were not included. And it's not just on launch either. I was very optimistic at first hoping for a quick patch to include more aspect ratios but not only did a quick patch not come, a patch that was 220mb came almost a MONTH after game launch, and the list of it was quite short: 1. memory improvements 2. performance improvement inside a specific location, and 3. issue with player becoming stuck in terminals (lol).I will not even start listing the horrible bugs and glitches I've witnessed in a short gameplay time as it would take me hours.

2nd reason: with the base game still needing so much work on it to be worth its salt, Bethesda/Zenimax is actually trying to sell us a 30 euro season pass as well??? The game still had review embargos on it with people hardly knowing anything at all about what to expect, but thank god we at least got to know what the season pass would buy us as early as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SEPTEMBER. It's bad enough using same resources and what have you, copy-pasted from Skyrim then charging 60 euros for it. Please don't insult the customers in this way as well.
