I never write serious reviews for games, but I'm about 5 hours into my hard mode playthrough and I am absolutely loving this remake so far. I aswell as many others had initial concerns whenever we heard that Bloober Team would be behind this remake, but this has proven to be a seriously amazing and beautifully modern take on arguably my favorite video game of all time, tied with Half-Life 2. If Bloober Team doesn't get their flowers for this game then something is definitely wrong. I wish them nothing but the absolute best in their career. Though the original game will always have a special place in my heart, this is an amazing game for people wanting to get into the series but haven't been able to due to how difficult it is to properly play these legendary games. Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to continuing my playthrough of this.
