The game's been out for 6 years and still receives balance updates. The playerbase is, admittedly, on the small side. However, it's still easy enough to find games, it's just that you'll start to recognize people after a certain point.

The asymmetric gameplay and combination of FPS/RTS elements is beautiful, and I still enjoy it to this day, 6 years after I purchased it on release day.

It takes some getting used to, the balance and meta, but there are enough resources such as the ingame tutorials to make it more painless.
